Haha, that's funny. I totally agree, but at the same time, we don't have anything that can compete with those last 2 devices yet. X is good, but not great with what's coming. Fascinate? (lol, no thanks). Inc? Too old. And BTW, I'm not threatening to jump ship, I was just making a point and expressing frustration.

I know. I'm just saying. Those are pretty terrible phones in my opinion....

I actually think VZW deserves 0 blame. They can either A. release the phone with errors and have to eat the cost of exchanges or B. do what they're doing

BB is the company you guys who preordered should be pissed at, they have been gaining interest on everyone who preordered's $50. If only 20,000 preordered, that's 1 million dollars they are earning interest on without doing ANYTHING. And since they were off by so much, they are gaining that interest for more than a month! Instead of just 2 weeks...

I honestly think BB snookered everyone so they could put that money in the bank and make 62.50 off of every 50 they've received via preorder..

Totally agree, except with the math. 5% per year for one month for 20000 deposits at $50 ea. is a whopping $4000 (rounded just a bit). Not much when it comes to a company as large as BB.

On a second note, I have Verizon's Thunderbolt page, Engadget, and BGR on 10 second refresh macro on my desktop while I browse here on my laptop. Awesome? I think so.

I wish VZW would realize that not all of their customers like fruit (if that has anything to do with the delays.

They absolutely do. The Android Market is growing faster than all others. Also Android is the most popular OS among the younger demographic. The relationship with Apple is obviously newer since VZW has been doing Droid/Android for some time. And of course Apple is hot.

I wanna know why everyone is ASSUMING that this is entirely VZWs fault??..NONE of us know the real reasons for tha delays..why dont ppl try contacting HTC?? Cuz they sure have been pretty quiet during all this

I was fixing a computer at VZ today, the lady told me she had heard the 24th in-store. Not concrete, but it fits with the BB 10th release rumor, then they have the exclusive for 2 weeks. Doesn't matter to me anymore, it could come out today and I won't get it. Dual-core, regardless of network (Can you hear me leaving now?). And I let her know that I was not a fan of what has been going on, she agreed, and said she thought it was the marketing department that was holding the feedbag. With that thrown out there, if it's true, I have lost a LOT of respect for VZ, and feel disrespected and lied to. If they start jacking their prices, I'm gone. I no longer trust VZ, their word is crap to me.

I know that they are not stupid. Everyone has seen this chart:

All I'm saying is that they need to release an Android phone soon to stay competitive for new customers (and keep old ones ready to upgrade nearing end of contract). It has been a long time since they've come out with a real flagship Android phone. I realize that they want to get the device right, so they traditionally take longer to come out with new equal/greater spec-ed phones than the other service providers.

As I figured there was no truth to this but I had to call and make sure of it. They said that they do NOT have them yet and there has not been a release date set. Basically no new info.

I do not know if this theory has been thrown out there yet - Maybe VZW's almighty 3g and 4g network isn't ready for the Bolt after releasing the iPhone. Battery, Skype, etc...maybe the network is near capacity and VZW is giving HTC a cold shoulder. HTC is proud of this device and the publicity. VZW has their problems and agenda.

I think everyone is assuming because there's there's nothin else to do because nuth companies refuse to speak up. What else can we do but assume. Its crazy that neither company is saying anything!

There's obviously more to this story than we'll ever know..something is.going on behind the scenes that is causing this delay but its getting annoying that everyone is pointing tha finger at big red..THEY PROMISED US NOTHING OTHER THAN COMING SOON!!..look at tha previous delays with the incredible..mecha..merge..scorpion..incredible hd..etc...all htc fones..so how are they exactly the golden child in all of this??
