New X orders now will not ship until the 18th.. Yeah right

I ordered my droid on 9/11. I read this thread and immediately went to the verificatoin email to check my order status. I entered the order number and my lastname only to find a message saying your DX will ship out on 9/22 
. what a bummer. I ordered it online with two accessories, think there is a possibility i will get it early? or am i doomed to wait???

I ordered two droid x's on the Sept. 9th. Sales rep. told me the would ship on the 21st. I just called today to get my tracking number for fedex. Fedex shows that the phones were shipped out on the 10th and will be here on the 14th (tomorrow). That means the phone were shipped a day after ordering and will be arriving in less then a week. I dont think people are going to have to wait long anymore. Now I need to sell my droid 1.

I ordered my Droid X on 9/8/2010 and it said to be delivered by 9/20/2010. I just got an email today with a tracking number which it will be delivered by 9/14/2010. dancedroid

i ordered mine on the 6th...called today and was told it still hasn't shipped and that it will probably be shipping out on the 20th...
EDIT: just called again to check the status...i told the rep i had a few "friends" (aka you guys on here lol) who ordered their droid x's after i did and are already receiving tracking numbers. all she could tell me was that it hasn't shipped and the expected ship date is the 20th.

That's the BS story i got as well, just checked web page again and still no tracking info.

i keep checking the order status on verizon's website, keeps saying "we are having technical difficulties, please try again later"

I ordered mine on the 16th of july and was told by the rep i wouldnt get it until the 28th. I got mine the 20th. I think the problem has been in getting them shipped to the stores to keep up with the orders. They are just shipping them from the warehouse instead.
What warehouse? I ordered mine online on the 5th and still no info on when i will get mine other than it will ship on the 20th. There are quite a few others that have ordered well past that and have received the devices or received tracking info so I don't get it.
