New X orders now will not ship until the 18th.. Yeah right

I ordered mine over the net yesterday (9-8) and it shows it is supposed to ship on the 21st of this month. Hopefully it will ship quicker than that.

It seems like people are getting their DX's earlier than expected..like 1 week instead of 2 weeks?

Ordered DX this morning - 9/9/10
Expected Ship Date - 9/21/10

I really don't want to wait 2 weeks...I'm crossing my fingers and trying to stay hopeful

Curious...has anybody had any luck leaving a Door Tag for FedEx? If not that could delay things for a day or two.

I was afraid of that..so I set the ship address for my work. With my name in CAPITAL LETTERS and I'll be tracking it, in case someone trys to snatch it.
FedEx doesn't like leaving stuff on my porch for some reason. Maybe they don't like my neighborhood or something....then again, I wouldn't trust my neighbors either.

Wow congrats man! I ordered mine the same day, I went through the store though, so I didn't give them an email, they are just supposed to give me a call when it gets shipped. Maybe I'll just give the tech a call and see if he can find out for me

Nice.....that's a 6 day turn-around time. Who did you have to bribe to get it that quick?? Lucky

Called the tech at VZW and mine came in already! Just picked it up recently and now the babies sitting on the charger til I get home from work.

Kinda disappointed I had to be the one that called them and asked... but oh well it's home now

Maybe they're starting to close the gap on the backorder shortage.

I wouldn't be surprised if they sent yours a week earlier either. I think they just put out that date for people to anticipate it.
