I cleared the cache/data and re-searched Beautiful Widgets and now it gives a price for it and next to Beautiful Live Weather it says installed. What do I do?
Anybody able to help or should I just pay for the newest version? If I should just pay for the newest version, do I need to uninstall the old version? Also, can anyone direct to the proper forum to answer the following question - I have .apk files from an older phone on my computer and want to put them on my new phone - how do I do that?
Open the configure, go to changelog at bottom and see which version you have. If you purchased, you should be able to uninstall and then reinstall without being charged again. If you see version 3.231, then you have the newest. If not, I would uninstall and redo.

Sooooo....can anyone direct me to the proper forum that will help me get old .apk files (from an older droid) from my computer to my X? I already installed ASTRO file manager but do not know where to put the files. I tried looking but have not found anything. Thanks in advance!
If you already have the files onto your X (anywhere in the SD card is fine), just make sure install from unknown sources is checked and tap the apk file within Astro. It should install at that point. However, it won't update from the market.
To get the files from your old phone is a little more complicated. I believe apps are installed to /data/app on the phone and that is only accessible via root access.

Where is the option to download toggle widget skins? All I see are clock and weather skins. Thanks...
Open Beautiful Widgets from the app drawer and select Toggle Skins. There are quite a few skins in there now. When the option first appeared there were only 2.

Update: Naked Droid is on the BW SKin Server
Finally downloaded BW to my new phone....all went well and the widget is excellent and fun to play with. Crazy number of options, took me 2 hrs. of playing around to come up with the 10 or so I like the most.
NOW....why doesn't my phone display the HOME PAGE in LANDSCAPE....as above? What do I need to change/click in my settings?

With the latest update when i go to "download skins" clock or weather, nothing shows up anymore, just the ones i have already previously downloaded, tried uninstalling/reinstalling nut to no avail, anyone experience the same thing?
Yeah me too. On the market page it says "We are working on the Skin Server Issues" Looks like it's a temporary issue.
