Battery life keeps getting better and better!! Last night I had 8+ hours and still at over 30%. Today, I have 5 hours in and only at 75%!!
My experience so far with the battery on my Bionic has been phenomenal. Yesterday under the battery stats screen I had 16hours 34mins on the battery with about 5.5 hours with the screen on and I was down to 40%. This was with 4G and auto brightness. I surfed the web, played some games, about an hour of phone calls, tons of texts, 45mins of navigation and some.streaming of Pandora. I am very impressed so far. The first 3 days I.had the bionic I did full discharges and recharges of the battery. I bought the extended battery but at this point I don't know if ill need it.

Getting some pretty impressive stats today thus far. Today is my early day, so I turned on the phone at about 5:15 this morning, so I'm now at about 12 hours and 15 minutes with light to moderate usage. Battery saver setting. My charge is around 80% or so.
I'm on CDMA only (no 4G in my area), with my screen brightness at about a quarter (which, for the record, is still plenty bright). I noticed some people are shutting off their background data, what exactly does that do?
And what's with the holding the power button for 15min with battery out ???I must be one of the lucky ones. I purchased an entended battery on Monday afternoon, ran it until the battery died, pulled battery and held power button for 15 or so seconds, put the battery back in and let it charged overnight. I took it off the charger Tuesday at 7am and it just died an hour ago. So I got roughly 1 Day, and 7+ hours. I would say I had moderate usage. 40 min of talk time, 3 or 4 hours of display time playing trailers, checking txt, etc..., streamed roughly an hour of netfix, some light web browsing, on 4G all the time, disabled auto for display and set it to about half for brightness.

15 SECONDS.
It discharges any power that may be resonant in the circuits.
