****Official FroYo Rollout Thread-Version2!****

So, I just recieved my update; some friends got it last week. We're all in Indiana. Along with this update I learned that using task killers is bad for the phone, so I got rid of it. But now how do I close apps that I'm not using? I'm kind of OCD so I prefer apps that I'm not using to be closed, like my browser. But without my task-killer I don't know how to close it. Anyone know?

Oooook, I see. Well that's cool, I guess ill just leave things alone so I don't mess anything up. Lol. Has anyone noticed any kind of battery drain?

Last I heard everybody was supposed to get Froyo by August 18, with a later update for Flash. Here it is August 18, and my Droid is still on 2.1. What's the issue? Anyone else still living with 2.1 or did Verizon just forget about me?

I think I might take the plunge today and manually update. That is, unless by the time I finish typing and posting this my phone has decided to do it already....

My son received the update about 5 days ago and I still haven't got it. What is going on? I hope I get mine tonight!!! :icon_evil:
