I got the smaller 45.2m OTA UPdate this morning. It hung at the triangle screen. I called VZW and they said I could go to a store to have it flashed or they would send out a new phone. I pushed the power button after 30+ minutes and it rebooted into 2.2.

I wish in would have just done the manual update with the 76m file days ago when i down loaded it.

EDIT: Actually, I just went to the system update section in the settings and it is downloading the smaller update as I type (45.2MB). Hopefully the other one will get here ASAP!!!

3 of the 7 phones in my office have updated. One went well. One changed all of the alerts and one has the battery drain issue.

Note my post above. I got the OTA this morning and it was the smaller file. What's with that, I thought they switched to the larger file update????

I manually updated mine like a week ago. I have a replacement droid coming today though so we will see if I get the OTA on that

My wife still hasn't received the OTA update. Are people still receiving the update? I thought the update was supposed to be sent to everyone with D1's by today. I am waiting to hear when froyo for my Droid X will be available.

There are two updates coming though right? The other one involving the Adobe Flash 10.1 later?

The second update you speak of is more like a patch to allow you to see Flash Player in the market. It doesn't come pre-installed.
