Just got mine monday. I'm loving it! I'm not a power user and don't plan on rooting it. It's been working fine with only the occasional browser freeze. The only thing i don't like is that I can't use the dock when my cover is on.

I went the no pc required route.

Also, the Green ROM Super Clean BS VA Pro from AngDroid installed without a hitch. Just make sure you follow the directions closely.

And i worked all right? :icon_ banana: :icon_ banana: SWEET!!! I have heard horror story's of root this guy. hope this works.

Is it a clear cover? I don't get getting this phone then covering up the coolest part of it. And you can use the dock with covers, you just have to take out the little tray in the dock.

I figure I'll want to cover it once the novelty has worn off. I'm tough on phones! ;-)

it's the black rubber one... I'll check the dock as I didn't even think to check if you could open it up.

Ok... I tried the dock minus the spacer and it connects but won't charge...

Where can I find a clear case that will work with the dock?

I ended up just trimming the little studs that guide the dock insert, so my phone can fit with the cover. It didn't take much and now it works great.

Does anyone know if you can get replacement parts for this phone? I saw the r2d2 battery cover replacement, but does anyone know where I can buy the top part where the camera lens is? I want to have a backup piece if it gets scratched. Thanks.

Im not going to be near a computer for a while so I tried to search in the forum app before posting and got nothing on droid 2 720p. Any news on that? The milestone 2 has it I think, from a patch.
