Is this anywhere on the Verizon website? I can't find it. Also, any basic (non-swivel) holster? I've used those to stick my phone up on my sunvisor for years.

No use for hanging it on the holster if you get the car dock. And I couldn't find it on the website. I ordered it at the store and got it for around $5 with free 2 day shipping.

Yeah, I probably won't get the car dock right away (don't like things hanging on the windshield, if it could be adapted to some of the more permanent mounts available for Jeeps that might be intriguing), just trying to keep clearance for it in mind when I get a case.

Found that with the plastic case and the desk dock, you have to take the Droid1 adapter out, and it fits perfectly.

Got my R2D2 a few days ago as a "free" upgrade from my beloved Droid 1. Absolutely love the performance, have it rooted. Just need to remove all the dang bloatware! I am open to suggestions and yes I am searching the forums. but i miss my simple command rmapk from crystal clear roms..

Open to suggestions? Try a custom ROM. Liberty and Fission are the two I've tried with great success, but you should look through the dedicated forums for all of them (in the Droid 2 ROMs forum) and decide for yourself.

I did, but some people have reported success flashing custom ROMs directly onto stock R2-D2 so I don't really have a definite answer for you...

I've Got it, and I love it. Still nervous about rooting it because it would be my first root, and I haven't seen much pro wise for rooting the droid 2

For some reason I predict that they won't have any to order for you. There really aren't a lot of them out there.

I installed Fission as per instructions from the install web page using Fission rom manager. I was unbelievably easy, and worked perfectly by the way. Signed in and loaded all the apps. The installed the Tron theme, very nice! I do intend to put most of the R2D2 stuff back on, but ran into a snag.

No emails today, very weird. So I tried to open gmail, it force closes instantly.
I have 2 email accounts, and have had for months now.
Any Ideas??
