Ok wow! Great improvement over the last release i tried. Love the settings menu. One thing i noticed, which is not important what so ever but im a stickler for detail. I noticed when you go to settings then go to the personal tab, "Personalisation Category" is spelled wrong. I know this is probably the least of your worrys but i figured id let ya know. Great rom tho

Is there any chance the the RM issue some people are having has something to do with their RM settings? I noticed that ROM Manager settings are backed up on the SD card to sdcard/clockworkmod/settings

Any chance that either changing your settings or uninstalling, deleting this settings file and then re-installing might help?

Just an idea. Good chance it won't help. Just trying to exhaust all options.

Alright...just a report here...not complaining as I really don't care....3 more times around on formatted fresh installs and RM fc's on managing. Downloaded from market. It fixes permissions and will reboot to clockwork.
I keep trying and it just won't go. Just saying...

When you say clean install do u mean you didn't restore data using titanium backup or similar program and you're running 6.2 as well.

Yup clean install of 6.2 and I didn't restore using titanium back up or anything. I downloaded rm straight from the market, and still got force closes while trying to install rom from SD card, manage backups and settings.

By clean install I mean everything got wiped like we used to do. Down to the last itty bit. No restoring on RM...fresh through market only. I tried clearing data, fixing permissions, uninstalling...repeatedly. Then reformat and try again...it isn't budging past that point. It'll fix permissions, and reboot to clockwork, but try managing and it fc's.

i installed slayers 1250 kernal using RM and it worked fine.

I actually just did that a little bit ago too...still no joy, but I'm not giving up yet.

The issue that will not die!

Yeah, super easy fix:

Settings > Personal > Sound > Trackball color
Change from white to the color of your choice. Some of the colors are not compatible with the Droid, such as Sapphire. Then toggle "Pulse notification light" off and back on.

You can also set a custom LED color for SMS/MMS in the MMS settings menu under Trackball color.

I dont seem to have any issues with rom manager. Ive clicked on download rom, install from sdcard, flash clockwork, backup rom, manage backups. Not one force close, am i missing something or was it fixed with this recent version. Just wondering because if its fixed i dunno why ppl wouldnt just load the new rom lol.

Ok...this time did the fresh install after complete format...upon reboot went right back in and flashed slayhers...reboot to system and logged in. Purchase rom manager then downloaded the program. I went to install from sd card and manage...they both came right up - no fc's yet.

I don't think it's the purchase that did it, more likely applying the slayher kernel right off before logging in? Your mileage more than likely will vary, but it seemes to be working.

You have to go to setting and change the color it's there it's just set as white as default... change it to any other color and your good to go...

Actually I'd be willing to bet it was the premium license that made the difference. Not sure though! I don't see how what kernel you are using would matter. In any case, glad you got it working.
