Official Team D1-MIUI-10.29-V6.X Release

Ok...this time did the fresh install after complete format...upon reboot went right back in and flashed slayhers...reboot to system and logged in. Purchase rom manager then downloaded the program. I went to install from sd card and manage...they both came right up - no fc's yet.

I don't think it's the purchase that did it, more likely applying the slayher kernel right off before logging in? Your mileage more than likely will vary, but it seemes to be working.

Actually I'd be willing to bet it was the premium license that made the difference. Not sure though! I don't see how what kernel you are using would matter. In any case, glad you got it working.

yup i just got the premium license and bam! RM works now.

Finally we get to the bottom of the issue! Unfortunately, it costs money to fix it :(

Great dev to support though!

Is there anyway Swype can be used? I tried it but Swype wouldn't work. I love this ROM otherwise.

Uninstall Swype and Swype installer. Then, reboot your phone. On start up, remove all your widgets from your homescreen for the launcher that you're using. Use the built-in task manager to clear memory, then install SwypeInstaller and use that to install Swype.

Swype's license manager relies on the "ro.build.id=" line in build.prop. If this line changes, Swype becomes unregistered. Since the Devs change this line upon every new MIUI version, you will have to uninstall and reinstall every time.

Flash this over v6.2 and you will get a proper build.prop that keeps your Swype registration intact. It sets the line to "ro.build.id=FRG22D" like it is supposed to be. If anyone knows terminal commands that would do this as well, that would be awesome!
