Older Official D1-MIUI-0.12.11.0

Here's the deal people. We all need to remember "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all."

Learn to live by this and everyone will be much better off.

This thread is for the current release, reporting bugs is part of it. There is contact between Markhuk and NIX at MIUI-DEV and the MIUI team so I am sure some of this gets back to them.

If you guys continue to complain about people reporting problems it will be time to hand out some infractions. This thread was closed for this kind of stuff earlier so lets stay on topic.

People often ask me why I don't run a custom ROM. Well, the real reason is I don't want to get caught up in all the drama that seems to occur every time a new ROM becomes popular.

Really I don't understand it. Then the next thing I see is people complaining about what somebody else said in a thread. People are entitled to their opinions and so long as they are respectable i can't do anything about it.

I see no reason to close this thread at this time, I do however see some of the names of people who seem to always be involved in controversy. Discuss freely and try not to offend other members. I shouldn't be getting daily reported post about this ROM.

Remember if you do start flaming another member that will get you a 30 day vacation. I didn't see any of that but I'm putting you at notice (again). Have passion, that's OK but not to the point where it offends other members.

Thanks for yet another great release Team D1 MIUI! I know this one was a *****. Thanks for persevering ;').

Anyone else have battery issues due to cold. Snowmobiling yesterday (11 degrees) my battery was 90% when I left and I checked my phone about an hour later and it was at 15% I turned it off and when I put the phone in the charger in the evening (it was warm)it read 60%.
Anyone know what temp (low) these batteries start to suffer?

That looks a little too complicated for this guy. On a side note, I appreciate all the knowledge you spread on here - you've taught me quite a bit...

I'm going to try out this ModInstallLocation quick and see what I think.

Left field - just took my screen protector off and I'm a nervous wreck. I know the gorilla glass is a beast, but I just know I'm going to nick it up somehow... However, boy does my phone feel smooth without it :)

ive had my screen protector off for a while now, and i dont have a single mark on the actual glass. i have my phone in my pocket with keys and coins and everything in-between and not a mark...the housing is another story lol

That may not be the battery. just a bad read due to how metal reacts to cold.

could that possibly have anything to do with your phone searching for service for more than a few minutes? (as well as the cold)? i know when im out of service range, my battery drops like a rock

It may have been searching for service. I'm in the middle of nowhere. Today I'll leave the phone off while I ride, and see if I still have problems.
Thanks for the response guys.

I'm finding a few of my Apps no longer in the market. Tried everything, ended up going back to 12.3. Any ideas why Apps might be missing?

Same here. I started using the Droid Overclock app recently and for some reason it doesn't appear in the market for me anymore after flashing 12.11 . I reinstalled it from titanium backup, so at least I still have it. Didn't notice any others missing so far.

Two of my paid apps didn't show up in the market. I am back on 12.3.2!

Dont kno if this is already covered..but if i want the new market,do i use root explorer system/app/màrket updater‹delete?..reboot,
then install new market apk?

Headset problem

Anyone else having a problem with unplugging their headset the Miui music player automatically starts? I didn't have the problem with previous releases. I looked in the settings for an option to turn this off, but couldn't find anything.

i actually had that happen on one of the previous releases cant remember but i was having problems with my headphone jack, i didnt want to send phone back cause i love my droid because of miui so i just use wireless bluetooth headphones and problems solved............

Me personally, I think I'm gonna stick with 12.3.2. Until the MIUI devs come out with a fix for the market, I'm gonna stay right where I am.

Yes - I just noticed that myself. I often listen to music in the car using a cord from the headphone jack to the AUX on the radio. Previously (using UD), I would pause the music before unplugging the cable and taking the phone with me. With this build, I paused the music and unplugged the cable - and was startled by the music playing (loudly) through the phone. Since the music app was not on the screen, I was not sure how or why it started playing. Glad to know I was not the only one who had this issue.

Overall, I have really enjoyed this ROM but I noticed a much fast rate of battery usage over the UD roms. I just switched back to UD 2.5 to see how the battery reacts to compare.

Thanks again for all the hard work!
