Older Official D1-MIUI-0.12.11.0

Hello everybody! New to this ROM and loving it! Just one quirk with it and I haven't been able to find anything about it in the forums. The default lock screen music controls only control the MIUI music player. I prefer PowerAmp but when I'm using it and I try to use the controls it just opens up the built in music player and starts playing a song over the song PowerAmp is playing. I can't find any setting to change this. Does anybody know if its possible to use the lockscreen controls with a different program? Other than that I really enjoy this ROM!

well reflashed & then used my swype beta email to re download the installer it still wont let me swype, so I can't restore it thru titanium from last version of MiUi to get it to work or completely re-download the installer either, so any1 know of any other things I could try b4 giving up? B/c I don't understand why it works for some but not mine ......might just be one of those things

Mine did the same thing when I installed fresh from the email. I fixed by switching to android keyboard and then switching back. I hope this works for you.

I installed Swype for the first time with the installer the other day and it gave me that message. And everything worked except Swype like the issue you're having. Someone told me why it did this but I still haven't checked it out. A few pages back or so. Might prove useful

I think its b/c its not generating the license b/c the steps u have to take envolves "deselecting swype" under lanauage&keyboard which u can't in miui like other roms b/c the check box is not there

I used Tibu to remove the miui music app since it had the random shutdowns anyway. The lockscreen controls are working fine for Winamp. Maybe delete the stock music app if you're not using it anyway?

But if you're a first time installer you wouldn't have the option of deselecting it. Unless you did it afterwards which would defeat the purpose of it saying it isn't configured for your device. Hmm...

This is the steps I took, I wiped then flashed miui restored apps thru titanium swype wouldn't swype, so I uninstalled reinstalled installer package thru astro didn't work, uninstalled then went back to my beta email redownloaded installer off the site installed swype, (this is when I noticed it not generating license it probably hadn't the whole time just used to it working)

Need some help...
I'm on 12.3, backed up everything with Tibu.
Had Tibu move some of the apps to the sd card.
Now I'm trying to to update to 12.11, no problem there.
But I'm trying to restore my apps with Tibu, no data and Tibu updates about 3/4 of my apps and sticks and will not restore anymore.
I get a low space warning, so I go into app manager to try and move some apps to the sd card. Doesn't work, cause in app manager it states computing (where it shows how much space is used) and will not do anything else. Cannot clear anything either.
I tried to move the apps with Tibu and no luck either, it just freezes up. Never had this problem before. Restored back to 12.3, backed up all my apps again, in case it was an error in Tibu.
I also tried to restore the data for the launcher, and it gets my screens back, but a lot of the apps in the folders are still unavailable.

Any ideas? I love this rom and the themes, especially Kuro, but after 4 tries to update to the newest version, I'm getting frustrated. Its probably something easy, that I'm just missing.. Thanks for listening and to those who have any suggestions!

Should I just re-download all my apps, or save via Miui back up and restore that way?

Thanks.

I was able to load swipe with no problem, here's what i did:
First I went into settings and made sure I had android keyboard selected.
Then I wiped everything from my download file, and rebooted.
Opened my swype beta email downloaded the installer opened it up, installed swype and voila.

Mine were as follows. Uninstalled the Swype I had and deleted every Swype.apk I had on my SD card. I had already has the installer but couldn't use it because my account was "active". Then they finally emailed me it was active. I signed it, insalled just fine and gave me the message that it was configured for my device and so on. I deleted them all because I was seeing people talk about having to do that. I notived it didn't generate the license but I just thought that I didn't have to do it since it installed the first time with error technically.

Why didn't I get an email with the installer? I had downloaded it from the site.

Deleting the built in one did allow me to control poweramp with the lockscreen controls but it doesn't display song name or the nice music graphics but it works. :-)

i pretty much downloaded/installed the installer and swype and uninstalled it as many times as it needed to work...i think it took about 5 or 6 times, lol.

GOT SWYPE WORKING BABY! I uninstalled swype, deleted everything swype on my sdcard, deleted dalvik cache, wiped cache, re-installed installer thru email then BAM! SWYPE WORKING!
