Love this ROM. Besides random reboots (which I guess I can live with) I do have one major gripe, one that I have not seen one other person mention.
Keyboard force closes in the default SMS app. I'll be typing a message and the keyboard just closes, and won't come back for at least 20 seconds or so. Does not happen in Handcent...
I really really really want to stick with the default app (mainly for the homescreen notification - unread messages), also, it seems that every theme I have tried does not have a custom Handcent icon - so it looks ugly.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas for a fix?

I have two problems that are possibly related. This has happened with the last few versions I've tried. The performance of the touchscreen decreases dramatically when the phone is being charged. I noticed this with stock Android and with Cyanogenmod, but it seems to be dramatically worse with MIUI.
On a related note, I regularly get FCs on the Music app when the phone is being charged and I'm playing music over Bluetooth in my car. I'll do a clean wipe and install the new version coming out soon and we'll see if it's still doing it.

A good chunk of the people that use this rom stopped using handcent because the stock app has a lot of the features that are in handcent. But The rom or theme should automatically generate an icon for handcent. I know i have a lot of apps on my phone and not everyone has the same apps and all of my icons match.

I have noticed the decrease in performance as well. Not too worried about it though but it really annoys me sometimes. Also been having a random reboot lately. Have never had this happen, just the last couple of days it's started. Only about once a day so no biggie there. Only issues I've had. Someone above mentioned the keyboard closing and my HTC keyboard used to to that but hasn't in quite a while. Pretty problem free for me for the most part. Oh, and the File Explorer. I'm definitely looking forward to it being updated. Runs really smooth for me.

MIUI launcher for me has gotten significantly slower. I use LP but I switch to the stock for mess around sometimes and it's lagging like no other right now. Not to mention I'm only overclocked to 600 considering I haven't had much time to set my max or haven't really thought about it.

I completely agree about no need for Handcent anymore, however I had to go back to it because of the keyboard force close issue I was having. I don't have that issue with Handcent.
As far as the themed Handcent icon, all I've been getting (keep in mind I'm only using the themes from the 12.13 zip) is the standard Handcent icon and a clear background. Looks really out of place against the customized icons - especially when it's in my bottom dock with a fancy dialer, gmail, and contacts icon.
Oh well, I'll just keep on trucking dancedroid

I use Autokiller memory optimizer and cache mate. I have only been running miui for a couple of days and I have not experienced any lag. I have autokiller set on strict and clean my cache everyday. Running extremely smooth. I also wiped wiped wiped I still think it helps weather people agree or not. I don't have any problems with roms since I started.

I don't use any type of killer but I do clean cache regularly. I cleared my SD cache and it was a ton. It's only laggy for me when I use the stock launcher or when charging. But, I think the launcher being laggy is just from lack of use.
Kinda spamming the thread. I hate when it's quiet on here. At night is the only time I can get on during the week and at that point all of the threads I like aren't being posted in.

this rom was originally bulit for devices that run @ 1ghz so running @ 600...its gonna be a little slow....

Usually I'm overclocked. I just got this replacement though and I wanted to try editing the .99complete(something along those lines) rather than setCPU. Trust me, I have no complaints with this ROM
