Older Official D1-MIUI-0.12.11.0

remove from /system/app and then redownload from market

What is the easiest way of doing this. A little hesitant because last time I did this with another app I ended up in a boot loop and had to resort to sbf, no fun!

I used root explorer navigate to the /system/app folder click mount up top...delete gmail apk reboot and download from market

Thanks sweeeeet!

just flashed. same problems as before with the addition of the gallery slow down we saw on earlier builds. also, this time not even my google settings (wifi passwords for example) didn't sync. so now.. i gotta.. uhajsdl;fadjksf;lakjsflasdf. whatever. good build.

Yeah that's fine. Are you tracking it? If you're not do me a favor and use bit url to shorten it and send Jamezelle the link for the timeline. I can do it real quick too, you'll just need to edit your post so it has the new link. Thanks

I forget, when in recovery, do we also select factory reset or do we just click wipe data/cache?

EDIT: Figured it out.

was up a little late last night so, go easy on me guys.....is it just me or is the numbering scheme for the latest D1-MIUI a little confusing....at a glance this D1-MIUI-0.12.11.0 looks to be a downgrade to D1-MIUI-0.12.3.2....just a thought...but my head is clearing now
yeah its deceiving but its the date that it was released lol

Its the 11th today? Ut Oh. Their build numbers dont make any sense. But who cares about build numbers? If it changes that means its new!

ALSO, has the music app background changed??? I dont like the purple and refuse to install until its changed, or changeable.

The build number is the date the chinese devs release it, still needs to be translated and tested.

In my opinion not installing over the music app color is crazy-this rom is as good as it gets.

Might seem crazy to you but thats my personal preference, I don't even use the stock launcher with miui. And if a person cant have it the way they want it they will install something else that does. Some people wont even use a rom no matter how good it is unless the theme they want works with it.

So is the color of the music app changed? Or did you not install yet? I use the lockscreen music player A LOT and don't care for purple.

nothing but problems with this release went back to 12.3.2 or whatever number it is...and yes I realized that today is the 13th so who knows what their numbering scheme is...it makes no sense.....and why all of the problems with the market ?? this release needs tons of work....I can't figure out why you guys would release something that obviously needs work, we usually get great roms here....what's up and what exactly has changed, so far no changelog.....next time, sleep then release, we can wait and you would save us alot of confusion...please don't come at me saying that I don't respect the dev and blah blah blah...its free, I'm here to tell you that I respect all devs and they have my full support....but I do think they have the right to hear from a dissatisfied user....and no I'm not a noob, I've been doing this for a long time.
I guess what I'm trying to understand here is....why should I have to go back and use root explorer to delete gmail and then reboot and then reinstall just to get the current gmail app that came out last week......then I have to go back and re-download all of my apps because for some reason they don't get restored with this release......I know, I know.....did you back up your apps....all of the other roms that I flashed restored my apps so this isn't a valid response and it seems like laziness on the devs part. Why should I flash a rom that I have to spend another hour getting my phone straightened out ?
I won't.
Please don't take this the wrong way. I just wanted to let you guys know what an average end user thinks....take it for what you will.

OMG... *roll eyes* just use adb and delete miui music. And use your preferred music apk.
