Seriously? I wouldn't even have my phone with me if that were my case. Fiancee is pregnant though but we have 8 months to go. Due in November! I most definitely won't have my phone with me on that very day of the due date.

You know of all the things in this thread I am most annoyed about, it would be the fact that I never got that freakin taco I wanted many pages back. I had to settle for a very unsatisfying bowl of granola cereal. It tasted like hot garbage compared to the taco I was lusting after.

I did not read through all 51 pages, so excuse me if someone voiced an opinion to this already and you've all discussed it, but:

I understand that the carriers and the manufacturers all want to make as much money and offer as little service as possible. However. I feel that if they want to take rooting and ROMing away from us, they really ought to provide us with the features that rooting and ROMing give us - standard (except, of course, tethering). Taking off craptacular bloatware that we don't EVER use, theming easily, updating firmware in a timely fashion, etc. While I do take advantage of my root to tether occasionally, I never go over 2.5GB a month of data. If they take away root, I may very well switch to an iPhone and jailbreak (unless of course Verizon/AT&T goes after iPhone jailbreakers as well).
