This waiting for psx emulator is getting very tireing if it comes by the end of the month like he said then we will all be happy campers....but until thwn enjoy all the other emulators or spend time with a girl. Let him work and when its done im sure we will all be notified. When its getting ready to be realesed because there's nothing but spam and frustration on this link.
pls people less spam here or i have to delete some posts. i know its hard to wait. but you shouldnt be so hard, the two sure gives their best. but if you wanna have a slow buggy emulator i sure can try that they release it now. but in my opinion a well working emulator with good speed and high game compatibility would make more sense. and if it tooks to long time for you => go and program a emu by yourself if you really think thats such a easy thing.
so i talked to zod right now. he told me that the goal is to release the emulator end of june but he cant promise it. well but our droidblog should get a beta version soon of yong allows. so we can give you some impressions about it, if the release will be later.
performance is good. but they work on a bit more fps on the games with sound turned on. and there are a few bugs on the gui which zod is trying to fix right now. also there are a few compatibility issues with some android devices which have to be solved.
Thats awesome, itd be great to have such classics and FFVII - IX on the go. I cant wait. But one question, any chance of any hints as to where the get the ISOs when they come out? Kinda like with the other emulators everyone has said where to get the ROMs.

I'm thinking about getting the Droid X and was wondering if anyone can tell me how SNESoid and this upcoming PS emulator will most likely run on it? I'm concerned about the touch screen only and how the controls will react.

yes the droidx rocks in terms of cpu power and it also haves a 80% faster GPU. so it will run the psx emu really good and i think with multitouch controls it will be nice to play. also the upcomming n64 emulator will take use of the droidx gpu so it will be a excellent experience in all highend emulators.
Guess i'm the only one who despises on-screen controls. Aside from taking up space on the screen itself, alot of action/adventure titles are rather difficult to play i.e. mario, donkey kong, etc...i can only imagine the agony of trying to play Ocarina of time, which uses most every button on a standard N64 control, the controls alone would probably take up half the screen, but i digress. Long live the physical keyboard.
I know i am about to make myself look stupid but i don't really have the kind of knowledge you folks have.. So with that said.. whats a "PlayStation Emulator"? or any kind of Emulator for that matter.
