Thanks for the help. I started rooting on my dx but it was a pain in the a@#. I just recently joined the forums and it has made it 100 times easier. I almost asked what their site was, lol, until i found it on the first page (I'm assuming what everyone means by op). It has helped a ton. I have been goolging these add ons etc, or searching forums for links, since the droid box didn't seem to always be working. So again BIG THANKS!

OP refers to "Original Poster" and refers to the person who starts a thread in a particular forum.

Quick Question

Download Battery Calibration from Market.

And do both of these if your rooted and have Bionic Bootstrap.

Step#2
How to Install and Unleash and Get the Most out of POWERBOOST.
You will need the Following:
1. Droid Bionic running [R3]BLURR3D 1.7
2. Root Explorer from the Market
3. Download the modified bionic.sh script from here:
[ROM] [R3]BLURR3D V1.7 PBX MOTO Kernel (10/09/2011) - Page 326
Here's a Video Tutorial on How to Install It and Get The Most Out of POWERBOOST!!

Now Rerun Battery Calibration.

Should have Much Better Battery Life.

Will Step #2 work with [R3]BLURREDV1.8PBX?

Did anyone else lose all their data when they flashed 1.8?

Well, considering that it clearly says in red print which is underlined that it WILL WIPE EVERYTHING; it would seem that this would be the expected behavior.

Seriously, why don't people read the freaking directions before they screw with things like this?

BATTERY STATS (Extended Battery):

11:20 - Unplugged from charger, 100% charge.
12:45 - sitting idle at my desk, down to 90%
13:20 - downloaded Facebook app and 20MB of data for SVOX, down to 85%
14:20 - Light use, down to 80%
16:50 - Light use, drop seems to have slowed, down to 66%
08:45 - Moderate use overnight (not hooked to a charger at any point) down to 31%
13:35 - Moderate use, down to 1% but it's been there for about the past 20 minutes.
14:11 - Another hour of moderate use, finally shut itself off.

So, yeah. Roughly 27 hours of moderate use. Spent part of the day in a 4G area, the night in a 3G but without shutting off the 4G option. 3 e-mail accounts and Facebook all set to stay up to date as much as possible (push on all 3 accounts).

Not bad. Not bad at all. :)

Did you wipe the battery stats? I just installed 1.7 the day before 1.8 was released and its absolutely chomping through the battery...

Yeah. 1.4 layed waste to my battery, too. It would eat through a full charge in about 8 hours at moderate use, but that may have been a calibration issue.

Try the calibration process, put it through a few cycles and see if it gets any better. I suspect it will.

I'm gonna flash 1.8 when I get home then I'll do that for sure

Flashing 1.8 will automatically calibrate your battery.

If yours is like mine, it may register a fast drop at first but then slow as they day progresses. Make sure to run the battery down from 100% to 0 before charging back to 100% again.

1.8 Rocks! Thanks Guys. I've never had the battery issues other have stated, but I'm coming up to 12 hours off charger and just hitting 79%.

Th3roy,
I just loaded this ROM and love it.
I found one issue, the app circle launcher doesn't work correctly on your ROM. (The exact issue is when you set the app to auto-center when the display is set as a circle. The widget pins to the grid but when you open the circle of apps that centers, causing you to need to click where no icon is.)
But nice work. Thanks.

When I do a power down reboot my widgets go goofy as well. Namely ihartradio, beautiful widgets, screenmode widget and Verizon data widget.

These widgets have to be removed to trash can and then reloaded each reboot.

Hope this info helps
