Just finished my first install of a rom ever and i am very impressed Th3roy! It looks clean, stylish, and professional. I will definately see to donate for further development. Thanks again!

Woah random question popped into my head while reading this thread...when we go through with the ota come november...assuming the keep root trick works...will we be able to just flash this rom or any rom for that matter regardless what build the ota brings?

Would I install this rom the same way I did 1.7 from stock? Wipe data then system format then wipe dalvik and install?

Don't forget cache.....system, dalvik, cache. All three or you will be starting from stock ROM, rooting and boot loader.

Have done this several times now.

1.8 Rocks! Thanks Guys. I've never had the battery issues other have stated, but I'm coming up to 12 hours off charger and just hitting 79%.

Wow how did you get this? Did you delete the battery stats in recovery mode? Did you just do the steps in the terminal emulator? Or are you simply not using your phone? Ive been trying multiple ways to try and increase my battery life and I dont know if they are working.

Looking for a home feature to move status bar to bottom of the screen like I could in cyanogenmod on my original droid. Could this be added as a theory setting or is their a home that has this feature I can install?

Sadahiro....I've done nothing....I've always wondered if there were hardware variants that caused the battery issues. I've never had them even stock. I got scared right after I got the phone and bought the extended battery thinking I was going to have issues. As far as use...I mean I think I use my phone, but do I use it as much as you or the other having battery issues...not sure. Its the phone I get all my work calls on, texting, two email accounts, craigs list notifications, weather, etc. The only thing I really don't do a lot of on my phone is WIFI. My kids grab it from me to play robodefense. I feel like my battery life has improved over stock with these ROMs.
