[Release]D1-MIUI-0.11.26.0

I actually didn't know what that meant I had to google it =)

That's not the trackball color settings, that's only the SMS trackball settings...

In other words, you're only able to change the color for the SMS notfications, not for the entire system. So no LED notifications for gmail, email, call, missed call, low battery, etc.

So you are on 0.11.26, you just didn't know that's not what were are talking about. Is 0.11.26 your first MIUI install?

No, I have tried 3 different builds so far and all were extremely choppy and had major issues, mainly cpu heat. This is the first build that I have been able to enjoy.

You are correct I did misunderstand about the settings. Cannot change the ringtone or leds.

Yeah, we think the Chinese Dev's left it out of the Milestone version, since neither the Milestone nor the Droid have a trackball. Guess they didn't know that setting controls the LED notification led on both.

Do you think there will be and update or will we have to wait for a new build? This is the first build my phone has responded well to...

My best guess is next weeks build. Not to worry though. This build is working so well because the MIUI Dev's (Chinese) incorporated hardware acceleration for the Milestone (and Droid by proxy), and the next build will still have those speed hacks. ^^

I'm still on 11.19 but I was looking in settings and noticed the uptime for my phone was over 10hrs. This was suprising cause I had it on the charger for a little bit earlier in the night. This is the first time I've seen that the uptime didn't reset everytime its plugged in. I think it resets at a full charge because the time would be when I took it off charger to come to work. Pretty sure no reboots today. Just putting it out there if no one else noticed. I prefer this to every time its plugged in it resets for sure.

may get flamed for this, but i've never experienced a rom that updates as much as this.
This is a GREAT thing...thank you so much for the awesome updates...

that being said, how do you guys deal with your homescreens? Do you rearrange them with each wipe/install? Or is there a slick way to back them up I'm missing?

Once again not complaining as this is my favorite rom by far nowadays....just saying it's a little tedious rearranging each time

I keep my main screen with BW, a pic of my son and 8 most used apps. I put system apps that I rarely if ever use in the system tool folder and everything else(45 or so apps) in another folder in the dock. Ive been told the MIUI backup works but haven't tried it so I don't know if it saves your layout or not. I'm sure someone will come along that knows this.
Yes it is alot of updates, the MIUI group puts one out every Friday which is what we have here, sometimes there are tweeks that get put out by the D1 Team through out the week. Keeps you on your toes...:)

I tried this build and constantly got a fc (android.process.acore) I did a full wipe too. I restored my backup for the time being. Any ideas? I'll retry after work

I had the same issue, my D1 is little more than a toy now as I upgraded to a D2, soon to be a DX. I tried wiping and reinstalling a couple of times and gave up. I put Ultimate Droid 2 on the D1 and am liking it so much I might make the D1 my primary again.

I'll try MIUI once it's stable...

Stable? I've been running 11.26 on my Droid since 10 AM yesterday and it's as stable as anything I've tried. No force closes, everything on it works perfectly. I don't understand how so many people are having trouble with it. It has to be the way people are installing it. Maybe I'm just lucky? lol
