I'm glad you like the 30 seconds lock screen timeout mod.

But in other news, I haven't been able to get the 3 way reboot menu mod to work at all. I know I must be close because after all the smali and xml edits, recompiling the jars and framework-res.apk, the phone boots up and runs normally; and yet the reboot and shutdown options act screwy and no 3 way reboot menu pop ups.

I've posted in a few forums asking for some assistance, but I'm not very hopeful of getting any. It seems as if the MIUI Dev's over at miui-dev.com don't want to deal with "noobs".

Reason number 617 to do a Nandroid backup before modifying your ROM.

Lol..yeah should done a nandroid. You can flash miui again w/o wiping. All your data should be there

Hey so I had a question about editing the file that controls the speed...What is the file name and where is it located? Setcpu screws up my phone >_> so I want to change the original one from 800 to 1100.

yeah find a new kernel. and are you running the newest bersion of SetCPU (2.0.4)?
i was running 2.0.3 and it was screwin things allllll up but it stopped as soon as i updated

It works fine but when I restart it goes back to 600mhz and back to ondemand and I'm using interactive. I'm using LFY slayhers kernel which is a recommended one. dancedroiddancedroiddancedroiddancedroid

okay well, under the speeds theres a checkbox that says "Set on boot" check that box then restart and itll stay

EDIT: set the speed you want and set the scaling first, then check SET ON BOOT and reboot

I'm sure this was asked before, but my market has been trying to re-load my old apps for a while now (over 30 mins). Only two apps restored but the rest are hanging waiting for download in the market. When I try to cancel a download, I get a force close of the market. How do I fix this?

I'll try that but my phone seems to run smoother without setcpu installed...I don't know why >_>

Always try out out. Don't ever assume that because set cpu didn't run good on one version that it will be the same on all if them. June loves set cpu on 11.26.1

The music player settings allow you to download lyrics but I never see them play during the music? When I looked at the lyrics it had downloaded most of them were wrong so whats up with the music app or how does it work?

You may have figured this out by now, but go into Manage Apps and force stop Market. Same thing happened to me but this fixed it...

are we supposed to have a voice.apk? my car tunes which uses a voice feature doesnt work anymore. i have a voicedialer.apk but didnt there used to be a voice one also?
