Rock and Roll Trivia

Here's one that shouldn't be too hard at all. Name the 5 members of The Traveling Wilburys.

If someone doesn't get this, I'll be surprised.

Oh and just for any new players you cannot use search engines. You got to know the answer.

Ok I've been a die-hard Metallica fan since I was a kid, and know some great trivia on them, but I don't know if that really falls into the same category as the rest of this, so I'm not sure if posting any Q's would be a waste of time or not!

I'm game. I posted a Metallica question a few pages back. Metallica belongs in here more than Bette Middler or Patsy Cline, IMO.

Posting on Metallica is fine. Heavy metal, all that stuff is all good.

What I don't want is anymore questions about freaking ABBA or Whitney Houston or some crap like that. New wave, punk, Alternative, all that's rock is cool.

ok cool - Jay can you repost? I'm too lazy to search back through 16 pages...

edit: unless it was already answered :icon_eek:

Orion, Cliff Burton, and I don't know for sure, but I'd guess Hetfield and Burton? It has Burton influence all over it, and I don't think a Metallica song exists that wasn't at least co-wrote by Hetfield...

c'mon Jay, I'm curious if I'm right on the writing! :)

Ok here's one for Metallica... where did the album title "Kill 'em All" come from? I can honestly say I didn't even know this one until recently (thanks to the Biography Channel :)).

edit: Bonus - what was Kill 'em All originally supposed to be titled?

That's correct but it was answered already. That's was probably too easy for you anyway, seeing as you're a huge Metallica fan. Let's hear some of yours.

Ok, here's another, more music related Metallica question...

In which Metallica song was the intro actually played backwards?

I'm confused. They purposely wrote it one way but then recorded it backwards? I'll guess "One."

Right album, wrong song. It was recorded forward, then played backward when they put it together with the rest of the track.

If you listen to just the intro on each song on that album, you'll probably figure it out pretty quick.

I'm leaving work in a few minutes. I'm going to pull this album up on my Zune. Don't give the answer yet. ;)

What was the answer to your first question? That ones had enough time for people to answer.
