[ROM] [ROM-AOSP] Official CM10.1 (JB 4.2.2) [NIGHTLIES]

I'm getting random freezes, where the phone won't come back on and I have to do a hard reset. Is this a known issue?

So it's weird. But go into settings, about phone and tap the version number a few times. After maybe 4 taps it will show you a count down. After that it will give you dev options. Jelly bean is weird.

Lol isn't it? I actually found out while reading a wiki article about Google easter eggs. Glad I found it because I could turn the animation scale down and even off.

Been happening to me as well since RC3. I was running 6/04 and i think my internal memory took a dump.

One new droid 4 later and runninng 6/7 nightly and no problems.

I can't connect to Wireless tether via any device since updating to RC3. I've tried it on RC3, RC4, RC5, and the most recent nightly (6/8) to no avail. My phone emits a signal but no devices can ever complete a connection and I've tried the native Hot Spot app and 2 other Wireless Tether apps. Any ideas, or is this a known issue?

Ive had no problems with wireless tether, havent tried wired though.

Okay one thing ive noticed with wireless tether is that my laptop takes forever to connect with wireless, about 3 to 5 minutes to be able to use connection after that it works fine, wired works as well, after rebooting my phone the backlight refused to turn on the next time i used my phone, had to do a hard reset and all was well, running on RC5 still

Maybe this is the issue; I've quit after about a minute or so. I can try again.

I've noticed that on the RC builds the backlight stays on when closed (keyboard), but on the nightlies it stays off.

Also, currently on RC5 myself.

Haven't had the the keyboard light not turning off issue yet, when I tether, windows 7 always says limited to no connection then somehow always figures itself out after 3 or 5 minutes, a genuine pain in the A but not a deal breaker.

I'm also loving the fact that I'm at 12 hours of moderate use in 3g and I have 64% battery Left? I'm sure Rc5 on the RAZR max would yield some unimagined battery time.

I had an odd problem I wanted to share in case anybody else has this. I'm on the 06/08 build.

Yesterday, everything was working fine. This morning I woke up (phone was charging all night) and I found:
Notifications sounds were not playing, actually, any "media" sounds were not playing.
Bluetooth would not turn on.

I tried the usual... reboot... power off... hard power off... nothing helped...

I then went into Safestrap and wiped cache and dalvik... and everything worked after that. So if you see any odd problems like that, try the cache/dalvik wipe.

i just had my phone start showing unknown in the imei and noticed my phone had no service and would not pull a signal thats when i noticed the imei was gone i am looking for any help as how i can recover it but i'm coming up empty handed right now... went back to stock and now i can't get 4g either so it's now a droid 4 that won't do 4g at all :( i need some advice on where to go now.

Have you tried, menu > system settings > more... > mobile networks > network modes >

CDMA / EvDo for 3g
LTE/CDMA/EvDO for 4g
CDMA Auto for voice only (knocks out MMS)

Haven't messed with other settings but am able to ride 3g for battery life 4g when I'm plugged in and voice only for when in the middle of nowhere
