Ok, I know there a a jazillion threads on this, but I'm posting here as Apex is what I'm running and what I want to run. Just can't bring myself to try another ROM when I love this one so much.
I'm currently running: 1.0.2.2 (the 2.3.15 version).
My bootloader is version: 33.03 (I think that is the right number).
I know that TBH released the files to update our phone. So, I guess what I'm looking for is the best way to update my phone, without having to lose much stuff on here. So, this is what I'm thinking... please tell me if I'm correct:
1. Nandroid backup (duh)
2. Titanium Backup of all my apps.
3. Download TBH files and update the phone.
I read that you can update the phone if you run the files in the right order, as released in the thread? Is this correct? (Baseband, Kernel, etc.)
4. Once I update the phone, can I then install the 1.3.0 version of Apex on top of what I have? I'm thinking I will probably have to do a wipe date / cache to get it to work properly.
5. Reinstall my apps using Titanium backup.
Is this plan workable? I would like to try to bring my phone up to date completely (bootloader, kernel, baseband, etc) with the .340 update and then put Apex back on, but at the same time, not having to redownload ALL my apps again and try to spend an hour or two getting my phone setup again.
Or, would I be better off doing a Nandroid back up of my stock Froyo backup and then running the OTA update? Does that update everything?
