[ROM] ApeX 1.3.1 for Droid X - Running, running, as fast as it can (12/16/10)

Im running about 1700 overclocked at 1.3gh is that about normal?

I consistently get mid 1700's running J'rummy's overclock at ulv 1.35, so that sounds about right.

2 intelligent questions for you guys that I haven't found the answer to:

1) I have played with the scripts ApeX and have just about everything how I want them. However, in the first post, it mentions that now the overclocking/undervolting values are "hidden" from other apps changing them. Did I read that correctly? The reason why I ask is that I have seen that people are either using the script or JRummy's app to change their values. Can I use the DX/D2 Overclock app that I bought and used previously?

2) This is my second ROM. I started with Liberty, which I was completely disappointed with. Now when I boot up, the phone starts with the first screen that says LIBERTY, then to the bootstrapper, then to the ApeX ANDROID screen. First, is there any reason why the LIBERTY screen still pops up and do I need to get rid of it? Second, how would I go about getting rid of it? It doesn't bother me all that much except its a reminder of how I fell for the hype and should have went with a better ROM

Heard there's a program in market place you can use to change that boot image, can't recall the name.
Now, what I did to get rid of it was to reinstall liberty, in the toolbox went to the boot logo option and picked a different one. You can pick stock, but they actually got a couple cool ones. Then I reflashed back to apex... which ill never leave again.

Go into terminal and choose on of the messaging programs.

type:
su
messaging -aosp

or type:
su
messaging -mot


There you go!

Sure very little use, few texts here and there, check twitter, check email. but 7 hours? Something must be up...

Battery is freakin awesome with Apex...

mine was too good to be true. I made a 45 minute call on the way home, and was still at 100%, so I restarted and came back up at 70%. Still not bad after 14 hours, but not magical
