OK, having an issue.
I was running great on the alpha 2 from the twitter leak.
downloaded all 3 files in post one.
booted into recovery,
flashed the kernel update.zip
flashed the apex part 1
booted into apex.
booted back into clockwork
flashed part 2

everything is going great, except i am stuck on 1x. i read something like that on FABs twitter feed. can this be solved by a data wipe? then an advanced restore will get everything back again with working 3G?

I had a problem on alpha3 without the latest kernel, but the issue was no data at all, not just stuck in 1x. Sometimes its a coincidence that you have a tower problem at the same time you do an update.

I'd try doing the *228 method to re-activate your phone (option 1) and see if that fixes it before going through the process of restoring.

Awesome! that worked. *228 and did option 2 (to update roaming capabilities) it said it failed, but i had 3G afterwards so it obviously worked.

After installing part 1, I need my Droid2 bootstrap. Should I setup my phone now before part2 to get my download from the market ? I bypassed the Setup Phone.

I waited until everything downloaded from the market, then I installed part 2. I did notice that I lost about 20 apps when I did flash this 2.0 and had to find them again. I don't know for sure if it was a GB problem when I flashed or if it was ApeX.

whatd u do to get the app menu on the bottom like that... or is that even apex? this rom is sick, but why do devs all have to use the adw launcher... am i the only one that loves the new blur gb launcher?

Can I use the old Fission camera .zip to install the blur camera back or is there a new zip file for GB? Don't like the AOSP camera.

Download Fabs .zip of removed files, extract it, create a restore folder on your sdcard, place whatever Blur .apks you want in it, go into TE and run his restoreblur scrip in the OP. Done....

The only thing I would say to do is just to flash part 1 again. No need to wipe.
I feel like I saw a twitter feed from Fab saying that the posted up a better keyboard. Maybe I'm wrong.

Should be able to flash part one reboot then flash part 2 without any need to flash kernel since u are allready .591

The update mostly went fine for me, in fact I regained access to some Market apps that had gone missing previously, but Maps disappeared (re-dl'ed from Market) and Social Networking is gone (installed a different app with a similar widget). That was a little disconcerting. I wasn't able to reinstall Social Networking from TiBU either...got a perpetual hourglass.

Still, quite happy overall.

Will the toolbox be showing up again at some point?

Social Networking I'm not sure but I think in the ApeX restoreblur script Fab provided, you might be able to restore it. Might want to try that.

Those blur widgets, I love their function and scrolliness, but just never could look at them on my home screen. Man I wish I could find modded versions.. Transparant or glass or something. Ok, whining over. LOL!

Nevermind, note to self: don't mess around with pre-alpha Liberty.
