[ROM] ApeX V2.0.0 Beta (5/3/2011)

Apex 2 Beta is really smooth, really really great job, fab.
I've been running Apex since the beginning and whatever hot boot issues that existed on my froyo copy are long gone.
Only problem(s) i noticed with this is in Dialer.
Aesthetically, the top row of buttons are black and the bottom are blur. I'd say one or the other. This is after flashing the pt2.zip
Secondly, if a contact has multiple phone numbers attached, when calling from dialer the pop-up for which number to choose does not properly show the Bold Black Text that should represent which phone number is which phone (Home, Work, etc.). Only when you select and highlight with a finger press does the name show up. The text 'Always use this number" are also unreadable. Again, this is with the pt2.zip installed.
EDIT: I upgraded from alpha 2, but I wiped data/cache. If this is the problem then I'm guessing I know the fix.
You're the man. Without you I would have paid the fee to get off my plan a while ago.
Excited for the toolbox, going to be a tough decision when P3 releases the G-Spot TranQ... loyalty is powerful, I'll probably stick to apex.

Mine work that way too, but try the green call button on the right for the same contact. Mine doesn't work.
Not sure what you are talking about with the dialer...mine is prefect. Came from apex 588 with no data/cache wipe.

Nice so far and I most likely didnt read enough but here goes. Great that its a stripped down version but I like the navigation and places app. If I re download maps which I found out is a must for the other 2 will it also re install?Hmm calendar doeasnt work.Ok I downloaded the .apks and got my navigation back but what am I missing for the calendar?

Can someone attempt this act and lmk what happens please. Go to market app> choose any app > within the app, scroll down to "Send email to developer" and post back result please!
So I went from apex alpha .588, flashed the kernel update and then apex beta pt 1 without wiping data or cache. Rebooted, then flashed apex pt 2. Now I have no camera, aosp or blur. Is there a way to fix this without wiping data and reflashing everything minus the kernel update?
Edit- I just went ahead and wiped cache and data, reflashed part one, booted and then flashed part two. Camera is back. Don't know what the deal was. One weird thing is that even though I wiped data it still had my apps loaded and some of my settings were still there. Also when I went to reactivate and sign into my Google account it couldn't find my data plan and I had to do a battery pull and then activate. Running great now!

Using Gmail as well but it FCs everytime..I am going to wipe again and reinstall pt1 and see what happens..Very strange..I data wiped in CW and reinstalled pt 1 and same issue
WTFReinstalled Gmail from my "appbackup" app and am Good..That was weird..

I had files from the Apex 1.4.1 Toolbox for changing the battery icon to the round one with bars around the outside. This 'Polar Clock' looking one seems far more sexy still. I'm all for learning where I can get that as well.
