CyanogenMod nightlies changelog for Cdma_droid2
The 'battery fix' hasn't been included in the official CM7. However, I'm using MIUI with it, and it's pretty awesome.
The fix is now included in revnumber's unofficial nightlies. You can find those at revnumbers.info.

Both the official nightlies and the unofficial releases get discussed. It appears there's some code modifications in the unofficial nightlies that improve battery life. To what degree they do probably depends on a user's nature of phone use (pardon the redundancy).
I'm looking forward to those improvements making their way over to the official nightly downloads.

Lord, Today I'm having 3g falling out...Have had wifi issues as well(not able to connect) Being very familiar with ROMing and flashing and the whole nine yards, I have to admit, I'm a little confused..I'm beginning to think its the damned refurb. I wish they would've let me keep my original D2 ,,I told them I was having battery charging issues and send a batt, but no, got a refurb you know the "Like New!" Refurb. I've done EVERYTHING but sbf..with this one.. My old one which I had since the first day they went on sale, I never had a single issue, other than a crapped out battery...Anyone else, having these issues? Thanks..Btw, I've used and am using all the 2init ROMs.CM7 Liquid, and MiUi...

I just went from nightlies to rev without a wipe data, just wipe cache. Went fine and smoothly. Of course, if you do bootloop or worse, you should be prepared to wipe data and maybe sbf.

I have had my 3g drop out once or twice..did an airplane toggle and it came back. Can't speak for wifi tho because I don't use it. I'm on build 40

I haven't noticed any problems with either. The only time I did notice any sort of network problem in teh last few builds was this morning on nightly 45 while trying to play Word with Friends, though, all other data services worked on 3G. Eventually it came back but I'm assuming that was related to either Words with Friends servers or routing to Words with Friends servers (leaning towards the latter since I actually connected to WiFi to finish up my moves). Again, no problem with any of the other apps that use 3G or WiFi including browser. Heck, I downloaded build 45 yesterday (while on 43) directly to my phone in a car driving through the sticks and sparse coverage and that worked fine.
Have you wiped data/cache each time or just cache? If you've been wiping data and cache, have you tested stock SBF to see if you still have the same problems? If the problems persist on stock, I'd call them up and complain a lot. Unfortunately, the person on the other end will probably only be able to send you a replacement device standard ground, but if you complain enough since they replaced your phone with a bad one, you may be able to get overnight for free (better than waiting 3 days for a phone).
