I see it now... thanks a ton!
I've been running tests trying to "force bugs out of the woodwork" and so far so good - kudos to the developers and all of the time and angry wives this project has created....
One thing I have noticed is in reference to the lock screen timing. I have altered it in four different places and I cannot get away from the 5 - 10 second blackout. Not sure why this is, but I wanted to bring it up nonetheless. Everything else seems fine though for now - no problems with keyboard lights or soft keys. I did battery calibration after the initial installation of jbird's build 13. In letting my battery drain out I got to about 40 - 30% left and my screen started blacking out fairly quickly. I could not change it in the stock or CM settings - I mean I did alter the settings but it did nothing. I also had issues with a sort of "timeout" on WiFi at this battery level. Are there battery settings for CM7 that I am not seeing or am bypassing inadvertently?
Thank you all! I'm going to look at the files for the nightlies and see if I can add help to it all...

I also noticed some wifi shutdown instances. That was with 13 tho. And since I am having loads of issues with my stupid 2wire router anyways, I didn't think it was rom related....
As for your lockscreen issues, I haven't seen anything. Mine seems to work just fine.

2 wire routers suck, we see nothing but problems with them.
thanks to cvpcs's help we have submitted to CyanogenMod's gerrit for approval ... read Official Nightlies should be comming soon to Rom Manager
prop files have been merged
device tree is set to be forked (pending vendor tree aproval)
vendor tree mods have been submitted for gerrit approval
As we come to this milestone I want to be the first to say :
Thanks for all the hard work of all the DEVs who have really stepped up to make this project a reality
Thanks to all the beta testers who wiped 10,000 times in an effort to keep the devs busy
and finally thanks to EVERYONE because without the interest of the public
WHAT IS THE POINT!!!
We have to halt development till we get final approval ... sorry this is the process
AFTER WE GET APPROVAL ALL CHANGES MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA GERRIT
this will help and even make submitting patches easier than with git

The latest nightly seems to have fixed the USB problem... at least, it's working for me without having to plug in twice.

Question - is 14.1 the latest nightly? If so, it doesn't seem to fix the issue for me. I've plugged, unplugged, reboot, powered off, etc. The disk letter shows up in Windows, but I cannot access it. I can press the button to "Turn on USB storage", but all I get is a spinny forever.
If there's a newer version than 14.1, how to get?
If anything, maybe I'll try system format/wipe data/wipe cache and reload 14.1.
