yep google maps found me in a matter of SECONDS. only been running for half hour or so, but i havent really found any major issues with the ROM. ive had a few hiccups with the CM7 settings, but the rom seems to be flawless besides the alt lock deal which i never use anyways

you're missing out... this is stable and loads of fun. i have no comment on the battery life yet as compared to liberty 0.8, but ill post up tomorrow

Quadrant score of 1922 stock settings

Finally wiped and flashed clean build 13. Now when I try to browse with both stock and dolphin browser, when it tries to load a page, out just closes. How do I make a log cat?

Great work on this rom so far to everyone involved, it's way more stable than my original verizon OS was. That said, i'm having a few quirks i could use help with:
- no keyboard backlight
- no soft key lights*
- notification LED scrolls through all colors, rather than just blinking the one desired color**

*after flashing to cm7 for d2, the soft key lights were stuck on even with screen off. Playing around in settings with auto brightness and cm7s settings made them work as intended momentarily, but now they're off no matter how dark the room.
** tried setting led color in both handcent and cm7's interface/led "groupings" with no luck. Cleared all, made app groups, etc. Pressing the "test notification" just makes it scroll through all colors. Boxes for Succession, Sequential, etc are all unchecked.

Oh, and I'm running build 13 that I installed Saturday evening if that matters. full deets:

- rooted it via z4root
- installed koush's bootstrap app from page #1
- ran ClockWorkMod
- installed ROM Manager as noted in Koush's app notes page
- ran backup to create update.zip
- used ROM Manager to get to the boot menu (not flash via UI)
- wipe data/factory reset
- cleared both cache options
- restored via the jbird 13 zip (rather than the default update.zip)
- Once I got the home screen, installed the gapps and let it grind away installing all my old apps as stored in the cloud.

Any suggestions from the pros? Or just wait until the official version comes out to fix the few glitches I had above?

Thanks again

Nm, browser works now. It was a theme I had installed. Anyone else have issues with themes breaking apps?

Not specifically, but it's not uncommon for that to happen.

BTW - build 14.1 is the current build... :)

You'll need to update to the latest build, devs won't respond to issues on older builds.

These builds have not been officially added to the CM family yet - the developers are working on understanding the process/requirements to do so. Until that happens there won't be any nightlies or official updates via ROM Manager...for now CM4D2 is still unofficial...

Where do you get the latest updates? I checked mediafire fileshare but I only see 13 for latest, also do you know how to push backup assistance? I have all my contacts in their server and don't want to add them manually

here ya go.

[DEV_THREAD] CyanogenMod 7 (BASED) port for Droid 2 based of cvpcs cm4dx - Page 138

So I only have one main issue right now - I cannot get USB mass storage mode to work...there's no way for me to see the SD card on my PC (through the phone's USB cable). I've re-flashed from scratch, just in case. Just wiped out system, data/cache and tried 14.1 and no luck there either. I can view the card in file manager (on the device), download files, read files, etc. from the SD card, so I know it's OK.

Now that I have cwm backups of cm7 and 3.8.7, can I restore those or do I still have to go through the sbf process?
