[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for Droid 2

Do not use bootstrap with cyanogen. It doesn't work. Use clockwork recovery instead. You can long press the power button, select reboot, then choose recovery. Put do out straight from cw.

Get Juice Defender from the Market - it'll work something like Battery Manager to improve battery life by turning off connections w/the screen is off (and check every x minutes for emails, etc.).

any movement on getting the bluetooth issue fixed? the voice command comes on then shows a disconnect from ear piece. very frustrating!!! worked in ZS with no issues.

IIRC, the one of the Devs indicated that because of the audio library they had to use to make things work overall, they may not be able to do anything about the BT issues. If that's an important requirement for you, you might have to go back to one of the other ROMs...

Ok so I flashed it everything went fine. I didn't sbf. Funny thing though a liberty screen comes up first at boot then the cyanogenmod animation screen comes up. No big deal I guess. Ill say one thing this rom is fast, wow.

Any way to change the battery icon?

Install a theme...

Go to the android market on the web (www.market.android.com) and search on CM7 theme or cyanogenmod theme and find one you like. Synergy is free and pretty popular. I love Vivid (99cents). You apply them from the Theme app in your app drawer after downloading...pretty cool feature of this ROM.

There are also many available over on XDA.

I'm not seeing a build 12 in the nightlies...

I'm on 10 and charge light works fine...didn't load 11 as there were no new commits/changes between 10 and 11. Have had no issues w/unlock/wake up.

Im on 11 and the charge light works fine, I noticed becasue it never did work on Liberty.

I dont have any issues with the unlocking either.

It worked on Liberty GB.

I never flashed to that one, I was still on 2.0. I was wating for all the kinks to be worked out with Liberty GB before I flashed. Plus I think I had to sbf for that one too and that was a bit intimidating at first.

I have everything to SBF now even though I didnt for this. I still may down the road, I mean theyres gotta be something still there right if Im getting that load screen right?
