[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for Droid 2

Can I request a "Clear Cache on Reboot" option added?

You must be on Froyo before starting to install CM. My understanding is that Liberty is a Gingerbread ROM, in that case do not install CM over it, you will fail.

But Liberty 1.5 or 2.0.1 are not GB roms, theyre froyo roms. AFIK the only Liberty GB rom is the liberty GB rom. Im on 2.0.1 and my version says 2.2.1.

With that said though I still think the phone has to be SBFd for some reason to go from Liberty to CM. Dont know why though.

Im going to SBF when I load it.

Get the newest nightly from here (currently June 11): CyanogenMod Mirror Network - Powered by TDRevolution

Gapps are here: goo-inside.me - gapps downloads (The 2011 June 13 version at the top.)

yeah im on the liberty froyo rom but i think my mac corrupted the zip file becuz it was showing up larger than it should hav so ima try it on my pc and if tht doesnt work i will most likely have to sbf :(
but thankyou for the gaps!

Ok, so the mediafire link on the front page has a build 13? jbird_build 13.zip from june 24th. The Cyanogenmod mirror site had build 11, but thats from july 7th. So which is the newest one?

If it does use the Froyo kernel than you can flash CM w/out the Froyo SBF. I'd boot into recovery, wipe data/cache, format System, and then install CM and gaaps from recovery.

JBird has stomped my only problem, keyboard FC's. The fix should be included in nightlies soon. I'm stoked that support has been so awesome.

Well SBF or not, one way or another this is getting put on my phone tonight so well see. I got just about everything I need downloaded to the SD card. No I gotta get home and get it charged up, then start flashing. Hopefully all I need to do is flash the ROM.

I flashed this from liberty 2.0.1 with no problem

okay jus before work, i had flashed it over successfully. i kinda got anxious and decided to play with it while at work and downloaded the gapps right onto my phone. i went into bootstrap and my phone would not reboot... i ended up bricking my phone and had to sbf it. im going to be attempting my second flash right now, ill let you kno how it goes. but does anyone else think tht its weird my phone would jus not turn back on?? i waited 15 mins

bluetooth ear piece

any movement on getting the bluetooth issue fixed? the voice command comes on then shows a disconnect from ear piece. very frustrating!!! worked in ZS with no issues.
