[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

I'm still on six. Mostly because I'm a slacker. Its slick as hell to be honest.

Colors are good and the small touches of graphics are great too.

You should answer my pm however. :)

Just a quick question. I've spent most of the time on GB roms but I'm getting tired of not having my phone work right. I'm currently on Gimp 1.0 and loving it very much. If I flash the latest DC rom, will my apps automatically load from the market? I can't remember if that is a GB thing or not.

Yes a lot of time and effort go into this man, so glad you like it. My idea's and Davros' ideas are about the same, which is why we both decided to come together and work on a ROM, I think its going to produce some great things. Like he mentioned, he does't have to focus on dong everything for the ROM now, and neither do I, which leaves more time to work on adding and improving rather than just fixing issues, and themes, and slowly adding features. So thanks for coming to check it out. We have some great plans.

I am stoked for this!! Can wait to see what you guys have up your sleeve(s) :D

All of my apps did restore from gimp without issue.

It is possible that it is the kernel, but it could be the ROM too. Like you said check out another kernel and see if you continue to get the problem and if you do then I would say switch to a P3 Droid kernel, it's what I'm using and I havn't had any trouble with Wi-Fi or 3G at all.

Anyone having any Wi-Fi/3G problems on stock or any kernels?

thanks for the input guys. I love chevy's because of the battery efficiency. lv kernels don't like my phone. i just installed in P3's sv 1.0. I'll report back when I see what goes.

Having a tough time getting the governor and clock settings to stick in the Droid Concepts app. I'm using the deprimed #19 kernel. Any ideas?

is there any ad-blocking for this rom? I know most others have a script that you can run to enable it, just didn't know if it was available for this.

in the dev tools app in your drawer, open it and scroll down to terminal and open it...

once its open type...

su(enter)
blockads(enter)

thanks, i figured that there was some way to do it. Usually i can type scriptybox and it will give a list of all available scripts

I found that out by just messing around with it

Nope that has been an Android feature I think the whole time, Its been there since the Droid came out I know for sure. So at least since Android 2.0

Not you, its the ROM, I forgot to add proper permissions so it gets permission denied when it tries to change the CPU scale, it will be fixed in 8, im sorry. it will work if you set cpu installed, and im guessing it will work with other overclocking apps as well, but it will work without them in build 08

Yes but you can break it, ask Davros :)
