Nope that has been an Android feature I think the whole time, Its been there since the Droid came out I know for sure. So at least since Android 2.0

Just a quick question. I've spent most of the time on GB roms but I'm getting tired of not having my phone work right. I'm currently on Gimp 1.0 and loving it very much. If I flash the latest DC rom, will my apps automatically load from the market? I can't remember if that is a GB thing or not.

I haven't made to many changes and the ones I've made could be all wrong and I'm getting lucky...but I have keep in memory checked, and in advanced I have use homescreen caches checked w/ type compressed checked and build caches as needed checked. But like I said I'm not sure these even help, I've just been experimenting. And these were what I had on version 6 w/ a fair amount of redraws.

You could try the terminal cmd to lock home in memory.
echo ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1 >> /data/local.prop
I think its caps sensitive so type as is....oh yeah and reboot

Soo true, I haven't had market restore anything in close to 6months or more. Somewhere along the way I broke my restore and its never worked sense. Oh well not a big problem to me. . . .

Giant plus one here!! I've done heavy internet browsing, played some pretty hefty games and haven't had a single redraw! (Also using LP+)

Soo true, I haven't had market restore anything in close to 6months or more. Somewhere along the way I broke my restore and its never worked sense. Oh well not a big problem to me. . . .

Forgive my vain attempt at technical knowledge, but isn't the market restore ability a function of the build.prop file? I lost my restore ability over multiple roms and recently went back to stock, rooted FRG83G and suddenly the feature was back.

It just occurred to me this rom has a custom boot animation and wallpapers, but no boot logo. I think Woody's avatar would work nicely. It looks great in the settings menu, btw. I could make a boot logo if I had a source image, assuming I had permission?

Is there a trick in getting the over clocking to work? I've tried the stock and p3 kernels and the 800 won't stay selected. I'm stuck with 600.

I think this may have already been discussed, and sorry if so,but are you guys having any issues restoring from titanium? Its not doing it on every app, but some of them it does a soft reboot. At first I thought it was just all my go launcher stuff, but it just did it on seismic also. I can install from market just fine. These app backups are from davros frg83g, so that should be ok...

Specific, yes. I make my own using Shibbey's app, linked in my sig.
