JayR, just open music and then look at the ongoing notification, l am pretty sure it will be black. I also forgot to tell you that download provider will need the same change...

How long did you wait at boot logo before "uninstalling"? Try it again, wipe cache, dalvik cache, and give it time. It takes time after you wipe dalvik for sure and usually after any rom boots up for the first time.

Getting impatient after 30s and pulling battery isn't giving it a fair shot. It may take a minute, but only the first boot up. :)

That is beautiful, now some notes for build 10 which is close to being finished

don't worry about changing ANY text colors they are all controlled via DCS with build 10, so you can change them to anything you want, which makes your themeing a lot easier my friend.. :) trying to clean up some code, and add a few more things before we release build 10, but the versions of 10 ive been running over the past few days is a beauty.. :)

JayR, you will also need to open up apps like phone and music to change their notification colors. Hit me up if you need a hand finding them.

I waited 3-4 minutes both times.

The 09 version I tried to install from ROM Manager premium froze my phone at the Motorola screen ( M screen ). I had chosen to wipe everything. I let it sit for about 15mins on the M screen, nothing changed. I can get into recovery console by holding down the X on battery swap.

I'm going to try and hook up ADB logging and see if what I see. Any suggestions?

Not sure how to use ADB to get boot time logging. Any suggestions? I tried "adb logcat" but it just says 'waiting for device'. Never seems to find it.

Nickmast: Did you try to re-download the file? I had a similar problem with and that fixed it for me. Of course, YRMV.

I can't even get logcat to work,

Code:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools>adb logcat
- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) -

Restoring to my CM7 nightly. It's been awhile since I had a ROM fail to load.

I'm thinking something gold...

FFCC66
10char

I like that color! However i need to know how much interest there is for a gold theme...ive put alot of hours into 2 themes so far and one of them is dead already and the other well...not many downloads. Don't get me wrong i don't take it personally maybe my work is not great or maybe there aren't that many people using this ROM. So..anyone else want to rock some gold?

Well in all actuality, the gold theme has already been done by KrazyKrivda, that's where I got the hex for the color from but he hasn't been around in over a year. I personally have loved it and have been keeping it around one way or another because it matches the colors of the phone, black and gold. And the other reason I love it is because everyone else seems to be stuck on the blue:

I wouldn't mind a Gold theme, but Blue is my favorite. A Smoked Glass w/ Blue would be awesome!
Kratos

Hello Kratos!

That is beautiful, now some notes for build 10 which is close to being finished

Ah yes, this is what Ive been waiting for, since my CM6.2 was using the old metamorph Dark SE 24k theme finished off with the ability to set all my text colors within CM settings (forked I believe from Spare Parts) to CCFF66.

jayR83, if you want it, I have (a few of) the metamorph version(s) of DarkSE in my file collection below if it can be of any help to you.
