I've never had the sort of issue you and Nickmast are having, but I see others with the same probs on Google.. i mean the Googlenet. The 09 version I tried to install from ROM Manager premium froze my phone at the Motorola screen ( M screen ). I had chosen to wipe everything. I let it sit for about 15mins on the M screen, nothing changed. I can get into recovery console by holding down the X on battery swap.
I'm going to try and hook up ADB logging and see if what I see. Any suggestions?
Not sure how to use ADB to get boot time logging. Any suggestions? I tried "adb logcat" but it just says 'waiting for device'. Never seems to find it.
I've never used CWM recovery, so this is confusing to me, but maybe it will help you. I use RZRecovery and would just wipe cache and dalvik cache a couple of times then reflash this rom. Make sure the flash completes 100% and maybe flash it a 2nd time if it sticks the 1st?
Also, this for help with adb + logcat. I'm not sure how that works during flashing, but if it relies on your pre-existing rom's setup, it may be helpful to know that some newer kernels are disabling logging to help speed up the phone. ChevyNo1's kernels, for instance, do not support logcat until you reenable it. You might try flashing a kernel that doesn't disable logging or enable logging before attempting to flash and logcat.
