[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

Memory Card Recovery Software to Recover Lost Photos - CardRecovery
you can always try to update the driver for the card via windows that may help it getting recognized or even roll back to a previous driver if there is one.
Sorry, I just replied without reading earlier posts. This is just as good or better I'm sure as the software I've used. Good advice here.

Maybe the reason you can't read your older card to recover is due to your card reader not supporting SDHC? 8GB Card Not Recognized in Computer - xda-developers

Hey, thanks for the info, going to definitely check it out as I have had no luck with anything else at all. My computer used to read the card fine in readers as well as the phone....but who knows. Thanks for everyones help on the matter though! Its very helpful to get the support from everyone!

I only installed DC11 yesterday but seems to be working fine here.

After a lengthy hiatus into the world of 2.3.x based ROMS, I've decided I need to get back to reality and have a fully functional phone. Just loaded DC11 the other day and it works great. Really, what is all the fuss about being on 2.3.x anyway? There are a few things that would be *nice* to have in this ROM but at the end of the day, I'll take basic, fast performing functionality over bleeding-edge.

I'd like to punctuate having more control over customized brightness levels though. Not sure if that is possible on Froyo ROMs but the minimum brightness is just WAY to high. I do a lot of reading in bed at night and have resorted to used a chimpy app called Screen Filter which applies a grey filter over the screen rendering a washed out but less bright experience. Anyway... customized brightness levels would be really great.

How do I get rom manager to stop telling me there is an update available? !! I don't want the new version right now. This is fine

Have you tried a market app?

You talkin' to me?
Yes, Screen Filter is the only one I can find that actually allows you to lower your minimum screen brightness. It doesn't do it natively within the OS but rather applies a rather shoddy "screen filter" that "greys out" the screen.

I'm of the same things. No GB ROM would work right on this Droid so I retired them. So far really the only thing I'm missing is the little slider that GB added to give us something like the awesomely cool magnifier on the iPhone for granular movement during text entry.

Is anything like either of those possible for the DC guys to add?

yeah, that too!!!
Also, why is it that on GB ROMs, when you "move to sd", it seems like much more of the app gets moved... for example, I downloaded Adobe Air. On GB ROM only like 200kb was left in system memory but on this ROM 11meg is left in system memory (out of the 16 meg total)?

Use an app called link2sd (it's free) in market moves almost the entire app. You need to make a second partition on your sd card. I used fat32 setup and works great.

All of the sudden the market only shows that I have 4 apps even though I have over 50. What's up?

Will this work for apps that I've already got and are on SD? Do I need to move them back to phone then use link2sd?

I've used screen filter and I've liked it, its actually been in the recommended apps category in the OP for a while now. I plan on messing with the stock brightness stuff, but havn't gotten to it yet which is why I recommended it.

hit menu in the market and make sure the content filtering is set to allow all apps, all I could think of, I've seen that happen to me a few times but either after a reboot or just going back into after awhile they show back up. Not to much to worry about.
