I had liberty 2.0.1 on, now running fission rom, is there a guide to putting this on? I have the free and donate toolboxes

The blog post from Droid-Life says that the .588 leak is for the Droid X, there's no mention on the Droid 2. Since I'm using a D2 do I just use the same files that Droid-Life posted for the Droid X?? Or is there a different set of files for Droid 2 .588??

I think the monster file for the d2 is the only one out there now. I downloaded it the other day

Sent from my Liberated DROID2

That's what I was thinking, but I would still like to get that confirmed from JRummy or someone close to developing. As soon as I get a solid answer I'll be flashing it because I want Gingerbread!

As much as you may want Gingerbread, I'd proceed with extreme caution. I don't believe you can just *assume* that because something works on Droid X, or behaves a certain way, that it will do the same on a Droid2.

I am NOT a developer, so my opinion is just that - an opinion. I'm just advising you to be careful out there. :)

Hello, been running 0.4 for a few weeks now and i LOVE it. However, i was debating installing 0.5 and wanted to make a backup first. I went into the toolbox options and used "reboot bootstrap" but that just reboots back into liberty, not into CWM. I also tried to reinstall the bootstrap via the liberty toolbox, but that just soft-reboots the phone (right back to the spinning logo, not all the way out).

Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

I would just dowbnload D2 bootstrap from market and be done with it. I think you only get that stuff if you donate to Liberty rom

Don't worry, I'm making any assumptions. As much as I do love Gingerbread, Liberty 2.0.1 is running perfect on my phone. Plus I really don't enjoy boot looping, sbf-ing, or bricking my phone. Thanks for the advice.

I did donate to liberty rom, and since it was suggested somewhere that i use the built in bootstrap, i was going to try that first. I have d2, i'll use that in a little if i cant get any more info.

any one else have a problem with Liberty Customizer...i click it and it downloads and says setting up files...it will say that for hours if i let it. and if i click liberty customizer it just re downloads the files and repeats the same process. I wiped data/cache 4 times and re-installed liberty and still the same thing. any one have an idea?

On the sdcard, delete libertycustomizer.zip and the libertycustomizer folder and re-attempt.
