It's called battery calibration (symbol is a little android guy), or just charge to 100,boot into clockwork and go to advanced. Wipe batt stats and reboot. Let it run to 0 without plugging in and then charge to 100. Calibrated.

I don't know if jrummy has the same stuff in his sysctl as Imoseyon though I know they've collaborated a little on it (I think). With the Imoseyon zip, though, you don't have to reboot your phone daily to reset the cache when your phone gets slow. His automatically flushes it with the phone on at a set point. If jrummy's sysctl does that, then that's another avenue to try.

As far as what parameters to set for it, I'll just trust the ones that are provided by Imoseyon for now until I can do some research myself on it.

Imoseyon is much better imo. I was suggesting the systcl app as a consolation, just in case you didn't want to flash imoseyon. Like I said above, imoseyon deals with more than just systcl and it flushes the cache for you (at like 3am.) Using the sysctl app and setting vf cache pressure some low (as I do at a value of 1), the system needs to be rebooted more often. It still is a great app for those who want to do some tweaking.

Also, if you're ever running zombiestomped, you don't need to flash the imoseyon zip. It comes pre tweaked!

I was thinking of installing this on my phone tonight, but I have a couple of quick questions:

1. I'm currently on official froyo. If I install the rooted GB, then install glib0.8, I can use the 2.3.20 SBF file to go back to froyo when the official update hits right?

2. I'm currently rooted, and renamed the stock swype apks so that I could install the newer beta version. Do I need to undo this change before flashing the rooted GB?

1. Yes

2. No, you're going to wipe data anyway so it will wipe that stuff.

Just wipe data, mount, flash gb leak. Then reboot, dl d2 bootstrap recovery, wipe data, mount and flash liberty gb. Enjoy!

I'm still new in the custom rom scene and had never used Liberty before. Apex is my first custom rom, so I decided to give Liberty a try. But it seems very sluggish (almost like stock Gingerbread) when I scroll from screen to screen or in the app draw. Apex is much smoother for me. I'm just wondering if people have different/better experience than mine. Thanks.

They all have pros and cons. I jump around to a different one every other day depending on my mood

I've been doing the same thing. Up until now Apex has been my go-to, and sensei still hasn't ported AOSP Liberty to the D2 yet.

I just got on the cyanogen rom.... I'm very inpressed so far. Both with custmization ability and usability. It's also screamin fast. But OC'd to 1.2 GHz, holy crap!

I hope aosp liberty gets ported soon. Apex is great. CM7 is my next jump as soon as I feel like sbf'ing.
