just flashed liberty v.07 yesterday and have a few questions so far:
-can i update the adw launcher to the ex version? or use launcher pro?
-can anyone point me in the direction to how to optimize the droid overclock app for gingerbread liberty?
-the phone runs very smooth but the app drawer lags WICKED bad, its super clunky, any explanation for this?
-previously i had a fission rom installed and could manage 30+ hours off battery life, now im getting nearly half the battery life, is it just because this rom is more feature packed and developed than that older froyo rom?
thanks for any help you guys can give
edit: also my battery life is going up and down, whenever it gets down to 50% it drops to 20% within a few minutes? then when i plug it in to charge its back to 70% within five minutes? what is going on with this crazy power drain? havent installed any new apps recently and its been running fine since before i flashed the liberty rom
OK so here we go.
1. Yes you can use ex or lp. I use launcher pro and its great
2. Use quickclock advanced to calibrate the voltage and frequency. Set the cpu in this app. Use droid overclock to set the governer that you want (i use interactive, which can be enabled in liberty settings)
3. Launcher pro will take care of the lag, guaranteed.
4. Always calibrate the battery after a new rom. Use the app battery calibration (free in market). Use max battery saver battery mode.
Enjoy and hope this helps
