Ok After it finished installing it restarted and now i get the error from nuance.android.vsuite of it crashing all the time at startup.

Basically doesnt let me do anything else cause its always crashing. I am sure I messed up something during the install (possibly it didn't clear the cache ? )

any ideas?

When I try to install Liberty Gingerbread from the tool box I get an error message saying: " No such file or directory"

I'm running the blur gingerbread on my Droid 2 if that helps

Dl the nightly. Then say no when it asks to install and wipe. Exit out of the toolbox and boot into clockwork with the bootstraper.

Do a wipe

, mount system and data and install zip from sd (it will be in Liberty/nightlies folder on your sd. Works every time

Can you clarify this step for me... I'm ready to flash 0.8 but want to be sure I am doing the "wipe" step correctly. What does "doing a wipe" consist of exactly? I already have an idea and i'm probably just overthinking this.

Go into clockwork. Make sure the nightly is in the liberty/nightlies folder first. If it is, then wipe data/factory reset. Now go to mounts and storage and mount system and mount data (you want the first 3 to say unmount! Now install zip from sd and flash liberty gb 0.8. Then reboot

What step are you stuck at? Did you SBF, re-root using z4root, install pre-rooted Gingerbread leak?

Haha! Good rule of thumb when you're flashing ANY new ROM is... wipe cache, wipe data/factory reset, advanced->wipe battery stats and wipe dalvik cache.

A little update for ya:

Flashed .8, Tweaks.zip, Sound Mod.zip, GingercombJuiced... Couldn't be happier! Considering using the DarkApp.zip, but going to give GComb a try for a while first. Thanks for the help, once again you guys.

Freakin copy me why don't ya! Dude, flash the dark apps.zip! It's only the market and facebook. It goes sooooo well with gingercomb. I'm telling you, do it. We'll have the exact same setup then haha

The funny part is... I wouldn't have even heard about the DarkApps.zip without seeing you guys discussing it on another thread. I have been using the inverted Twitter and Facebook app and the old BnB (BlackNBold versions) of those few apps. I need to just buckle down and start theming my own, that way we begin to have more options. I just wish I had the time to.

At least until you do have the time, you can flash this zip. It's the fb and market from storm Shadow ultimate. Really clean and crisp.
I'm geekin out tonight. Dl apex gb, zombiestomped and cm7 files. I've been diligently on liberty so long, i may try another one out. Not sure though. At least ill having a the files

1. Is it possible to use a .gif as the boot animation? If so, how?

2. What's the most reliable way to change the color of the notification icons (such as wifi, 3g, airplane, bluetooth)? Metamorph isn't working.
