Do the new Voice Search features work for anyone? Whenever I give it a command, it just takes me to a google search of that command.

did you install the new voice search from the market. i cant get it to install its because of a signature verification issue. the new search doesn't just update automatically.

Just found out that changing the font size does not really fix the answer slider issue, the slider is still left-squished, but it is less obvious that it is squished to the left.

How would one go about turning the camera click off when taking a picture in Lithium? I know there was a script to do it in Kangerade, but I don't find it in Lithium.

Go to /system/media/audio/ui/ in Root Explorer and you'll see the .ogg files for camera noises. There are 2 of them. Just add on a .old to the very end after the ogg to rename them and then camera won't be able to use them any more.

How do I do that without root explorer? Also my phone vibrates when I make a call or slide to ignore what call or hang up but I have haptic feedback turned off. How do I make gthat stop?

Gmail force closest when I open the application. It even force closest at random times like now when typing this post. How do I fix that? Stock theme, droid 1, stock kernel. It force closes most often, it seems when I'm using the internet.

That's some new setting labeled as 'Advanced Settings v.30.1 that I think is part of WyContacts that replaced the stock phone app in Lithium. Go to Settings, Call Settings, and scroll down to the second sub-section labeled as 'Advanced V.30.1' and uncheck any vibrations you don't want, e.g. Vibrate on Answer & Vibrate on Hangup.

to fix the slider issue I pulled the Phone.apk & Contacts.apk for UltimateDroid eXtreme 6 and pushed it to my system through terminal emulator

Here's the .apk files for anyone who wants to try to push it themselves. I'm personally waiting on a Pro to make the update.zip..(Thanks INSANENEIVIESIS!)

I wouldnt suggest using collission because of the reported problems with the dialer and contacts list transpancy and the sporadic black icon box that pops up foe the dial action button in the contacts list. also, the hepatic feedback for outgoing calls and call ends didnt work for me when i used them...

i dont remember if the slider issue was resolved when i tried it, but i seem to remember it did not, which is another reason i went with UD apk's to push instead...

ive had zero issues with the phone & contact apk from UD's ROM...
