[ROM] Lithium Mod - Source built awesomeness! Themes galore!

let me clarify what the fix is. its a update.zip containing phone.apk and contacts.apk. when you install it it pushes the files to the system/app directory. its a patch you install with no wipe right over your current lithium mod rom.

ROM Manager keeps telling me I have an update available, and wants me to keep installing the update. Anyone else having this problem?

that wouldn't happen because i didnt add the build.prop to the update.zip.

My phone is wigging out then, because clockwork keeps coming up. No worries, I will simply so a fresh install of everything. First a clean wipe of of the phone then an install from zip of both the original ROM and update fix, then I will theme and add kernel manually.

Thanks.

It's not just you, Rom Manager is poping up every boot telling me there is a Lithium update as well, so it's not an isolated issue I'm afraid. Any other reason this could be happening?

rom manager

Im getting the same message but Im wondering if its related to the updated google apps I just installed (new google search, voice search, and chrome to phone).

Rom manager also then tells me my rom isnt set up for ota updates...

I'm just ignoring it. It will be fixed soon enough by one of these awesome developers (or made obsolete by the next version of Lithium??? Dare we hope??)

I wiped my phone, booted into recovery, installed the lithmod zip, installed the slider fix, got back to my phone, and as soon as ROM manager synched, it started to complain about the lithmod update. I simply reflashed recovery, uninstalled ROM manager, booted into recovery, and applied my LV kernel and Watermark'd theme from the SD card. Now I am simply setting up my home screens and email accounts again. I will reinstall ROMmanager tomorrow. Hopefully they will have a fix.

...BUT MY PHONE IS FULLY THEMED, AND THE SLIDER IS PROPERLY CENTERED NOW!!! dancedroid

voice search

My new voice search seems to be working fine. Only time it took me to a google search page was when i said "play Pink Floyd" instead of "listen to Pink Floyd". Even then it showed me some good youtube vids I hadn't seen :)

Strange. Are you stock Lithmod or themed (not that a theme should ever effect a system app, but I thought I'd ask).

I just tried saying "set cpu" and I got the google page. Oddly enough, the regular text search works just fine.

I am using Watermark'd

Stock lithium mod.

I dont think that's how the voice search is supposed to work. It only recognizes a few commands at current. Hit the help button when the voice box comes up and watch the video, its short and informative. Then try some of the examples like "listen to" and "send text".

Hope this helps!
