[ROM MOD] AOSP Liberty GB

Been on the fence about trying this ROM out...since I was very happy with v.8...but this morning, I did one of my normal backups and said what the heck, i'll give it a try. WOW! I like this! Super fast, responsive, no flaws yet! Love everything about it!
One big thing I like the most, and I'm not sure if there was a way to enable or disengage it...is that, when you set up a security pattern and enable it, the standard slide to unlock feature goes away!! It was like that on previous versions of Liberty, where all you had to do was put your lock pattern in. But in v0.8 you had to slide to unlock, then swype your pattern to get in--almost like doing it twice.
Everything else is great! I hardly ever use my HDMI, so not having that is really no biggie to me!
Thanks again Droid/Android world! For me, this a great ROM!!

Is there a way to change the dialer font for the AOSP dialer?

Not sure if there is a way to change it...probably is.

I use DialerOne. Whatever system font you are using, it will use the same. Plus it predicts contacts when dialing a number. I like the different themes...using your own wallpaper is cool. And doesn't appear to be a battery/resource hog.

Now that LGB 0.9 is out, I'm curious to learn when the LGB AOSP will be updated. I'm probably not going back to regular LGB at this point as I prefer the AOSP verison.

Only two bugs I have seen so far:

1. When in car dock, unlock slider changes to Blur-style (but vibrate slider stays the same). I reported this earlier but didn't see any responses.

2. The flash on the AOSP camera doesn't seem to sync properly. It actually flashes right before the picture is actually taken, resulting in absolutely no difference in the picture when using flash vs. no flash. Anyone else seeing this? For all I know, it happens on stock LGB and it isn't specific to the AOSP camera. FWIW, I also have the same issue in other camera apps like Vignette and Retro Camera Plus so maybe it is more of a system level problem?

My camera seems to work perfectly.

Only bug i have i don't know if the market app on my phone is causing it or what but i can not buy an app from the market. I get a server error every time i try to purchase one.

Never had this happen before.

Has anyone had an issue with bluetooth, it mutes the sound when I try to raise the volume I have to reboot phone to reset call volume. Is there a fox for this?? Advice would be greatly appreciated...

0.9 has only minimal fixes and if there is an sms bug (i havent noticed one) it has not been fixed on 0.9

From what I have read, it sounds like you can update directly to V09 but you will need to do a data wipe when you do it.

Yes, I think as a rule of thumb, you should treat it as a totally different .596-based ROM. It is based on LGB 0.8 but it is its own beast.
