[ROM MOD] AOSP Liberty GB

So if anyone has tried both this sexy looking beastie and CM4DX, which one wins in your book?

Leaning toward CM4DX over Liberty .8. Have not tried this AOSP Liberty yet.... Of course, if Jrummy comes out with this "Justice" ROM based on CM7, I do not know what I will do.

I've used both. CM4DX will be great once the bugs are worked out, but right now there are a few too many things not working. I liked Liberty .8 and .9 a lot. AOSP Liberty seems great so far. No bugs to speak of yet.

Do you by any chance have your Gmail linked to your phone? I have been having troubles with my Gmail not updating at all. Ill get a new email and it wont show up on my phone unless I go into the Gmail app and hit refresh, and even sometimes that doesn't work.

I'm running Gmail on the phone and it's running correctly. The auto email sync wasn't checked by default though. I did check that when I set up the gmail. It's under Settings, Accounts, then Select the Gmail and make sure the email sync is checked.

Yeah thats what I have been told and mine has sync checked yet it still isn't working properly. I guess just using the default email app for my gmail account isn't TOO bad...

This ROM's pretty beasty. I've been playing around with it for maybe a week now, the only problem is I get random reboots once in a while, maybe once every two days or so. It might have been cause I didn't wipe Dalvik cache before install. You guys think it's still okay for me to wipe Dalvik cache still? Or is a fresh install necessary?

Wipe the dalvik cache! Your first boot might take two minutes but all your info will still be there.

AOSP Liberty theme inquiry

Did you happen to finish that Blue-on-Black theme? I love Skynet theme, but blue would go so much better with my layout... Maybe light blue?

Anyone notice how the 3g icon switches between two different styles? One is 3g above two small up/down arrows. The other is a large 3g on the left, with a vertical arrow on the right.

Mine does the same thing.. not sure why.. this is one of the best roms I've ever run.

So would this be recommended over Apex? Currently running Liberty V8 but there are a few things I don't like, and I'm ready to go blurless.

just putting my 2 cents in on the rom..
Runs super smooth, no problem with camera or anything sofar.
this will deff hold me over till cmdx is running to perfection. great job!!!
