[ROM MOD] AOSP Liberty GB

So would this be recommended over Apex? Currently running Liberty V8 but there are a few things I don't like, and I'm ready to go blurless.

I've not run Apex, but imo it is better than v8.. I've been running AOSP Liberty since day one and have no problems..

Apex for DX is really dope.... its a hard toss up. its just as smooth as this and batt life is just as good. Take the leap and have a personall exp. either way your gonna be happy.

Any possible way I can get the white themed market .apk to add on to this rom I'm currently running?

Yes I have liberty 0.9. I purchased the liberty toolbox pro when it was first released. I was asking about the AOSP Liberty 0.9 not liberty 0.9. The AOSP Liberty I have is 0.8. The AOSP Liberty 0.9 is not listed in the liberty toolbox pro.

Anyone notice how the 3g icon switches between two different styles? One is 3g above two small up/down arrows. The other is a large 3g on the left, with a vertical arrow on the right.

I'm pretty sure this is just a different treatment of the fact that in stock Gingerbread the 3G icon switches from white to green. When it is white, that indicates there is a 3G network connection but your phone is not currently able to communicate with Google servers. This typically changes fairly quickly to green (which means your phone is in active communication with Google servers). There is a similar treatment for the WiFi icon in stock Gingerbread where it goes from white to green based on the phone's ability to communicate with Google servers.

For AOSP Liberty, the dev has clearly put his own skin on and has decided on a pure white look on these icons (instead of turning green) so I believe when 3G is stacked vertically, it is not currently communicating with Google but when it is stacked horizontally, it is able to communicate with Google.

I haven't noticed any difference in the WiFi icon on AOSP Liberty so I'm not sure if the dev is differentiating between WiFi states at all.

Been on Apex and ZombieStomped so far and I really like this ROM. It seems faster than Apex

This is basically like Apex but with a ton more customization.

I get the same quadrant scores that I did with Apex (Apex without using the poweroverwhelming script)

Thats all in your head. You just got bored and needed to flash something new. That's how I am. I'm addicted to roms haha

I don't think so, although I did want something new. My signal was acting weird... might have been a coincidence.

Anyway, I have an issue with the Toolbox. I cannot change the Pull down text. I did it once with the free version but it won't change on the pro version. What I put shows up in the edit screen, but when I reboot, it is still the same thing...

That and I also heard that there is a setting to make it to where the phone boots into Clockwork recovery on start up. Is that on the AOSP version, or just the other ones?

Not sure. It's on liberty gb. I use it always. Its in liberty settings. Reboot in safe mode.
