[ROM]One small step for man one giant leap for --- Liberty 1.5 2/2/2011

I did a forum search for this and didn't find it. If I missed it, please just refer me back.

Is there anyway to get the Blur gallery on this? It's the only part of Blur that I like, as it seems to be significantly faster loading.

Love the new ROM. It's great that overclocking is built in now but I'm still using JRummy16's Droid X Overclock because of the preset profiles.

Any chance of exchange e-mail ever supporting HTML and inline images?

Great work and thanks to everybody who worked on Liberty!

Just need to be 100% sure............lol

I have been on Darkslide 4.2 for quite awhile now. Love it but really want to try out the new Liberty 1.5

I have printed out the directions to load this rom...........

Install:
make sure you have root and clockworks recovery installed
-boot into recovery via clockworks bootstrap
-select "wipe data/factory reset"
-select "Yes -- delete all data"
-go back "powerbutton"
-select "install zip from sdcard"
-select "choose zip from sdcard"
-find and select LibertyX/2-X.X.zip
-reboot

I have done a backup of my current rom through Clockwork. If i apply the Liberty Rom with these directions, all should be good?

Thanks for all your help and looking forward to trying out Liberty 1.5 :):)

So, any problems with 1.5 or is it pretty much issue free?

I'm pretty sure it's recommended to flash Liberty from the stock ROM

Email Issue

I keep getting "The application Email (processcom.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" Never happened to me on 1.0.

Any advice to stop this issue?

*******
Fixed the issue by clearing email cache and resetting account. Obviously not an issue with the ROM. Sorry for posting it here.

so wait....this is a ROM for a D2 correct?

So I can run this on my rooted D2?

Is this Gingerbread as well or have a lot of GB in it?

People having problems either; installed wrong, didn't wipe data or cache, installed the wrong version (IE the D2 version on the DX), or they are doing something else wrong. No offense, but if the hardware and the software are all the same, then nothing should go wrong.

Reading thread.....seems to be so many issues and even less support!..staying tuned......

Posts like this really tick me off!!!

What issues? The only issues that i know of (that are not self inflicted) have been addressed, or are being worked on?

And what do expect for support... i have done my best to fix problems and answer questions! But I have a job and family too!

Considering we have had 10,000 downloads in less than 24 hours I think the number of people reporting issues is small.

Did you go to Settings/Wireless & Networks/Mobile Networks and allow National Data Roaming BEFORE installing the zip (you can't get to it after installing the zip)?
From what I have read - if you are anywhere in the US, you will not be charged by Verizon for data roaming.

I agree. And if you actually read the installing instruction and did it right way, you shouldn't have any errors.
You've got to give devs some rest too, since it's less than 24hrs after they posted this rom.

And by the way, AMAZING rom, Kejar31. Flawless so far, and I'm loving it!
