[ROM]One small step for man one giant leap for --- Liberty 1.5 2/2/2011

I did do a backup prior to rooting my x last night. However, when I do a facotry reset in recovery mode. Liberty is still on here.

I'm not ready for this aspect just yet. I feel uncomfortable about having this ROM on here. I need more experience and knowledge before taking this on.

I don't think you have a backup if you did it PRIOR to rooting. You need to be rooted to make a nandroid. You may have to flash the link kdinc posted above to get back to stock and then reroot

Edit: Forgive me kdkinc

I suggest you get used the the superior Liberty 1.5 Rom:):)

However If you desire to go back to boring stock (trying to be funny here).

Read the link I left you its VERY easy to go back to stock.

Yes...the number one rule before any modification, such as installing a ROM is making a nandroid backup.

So if you get back to stock and your rooted, follow these instructions to make nandroid>>> How to: Create a Full Nandroid Backup on a DROID X - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

That sucks. Oh well. I guess better get comfortable with it then. I like the way its performing, I'm just a little intimidated.

Im sure you'll be just fine. Just take your time and ask questions. Don't mind the jerks(believe it or not there are some) on the forums. No question is a stupid question. If you have a question and don't want to post it feel free to shoot me a pm and I'll try to help you as best as I can. Enjoy this rom. She is a beauty!

My Droid is force closing everything. I can't get past the screen where I sync with my gmail. Does anyone know how to help me?

Did you just install Liberty 1.5? Or has it been running and just started? Little more info :)

Edit: You are talking about when you touch the droid and start programming right? Try a battery

pull and boot it up again.

Edit#2: I just noticed your device. You didn't install on the original Droid did you? This is for Droid X and Droid 2.

If it were me I would try to reflash the rom without wiping any data or cache. If that doesn't work a full wipe and reinstall may be in order
