Is there a mod which is in Bionic Box which I can flash after switching to 2.5 in order to keep the 2.4 notification bar? In 2.5, everything seems to be all bulgy

Why is it saying no sd card?

It skips the SD card because you don't need to back it up. It doesn't wipe anything thats on the SD card so when you flash the new ROM, all the stuff thats on your SD card is still on there.

ok thanks, just flashed 2.5 but in the section "about phone" it says build number purity bas3 U2.4? is this correct as after I installed 2.4 it just said purity bas3. Plus all my apps are still there. Didnt have to put anything back in at all. Sorry but new to all this. Once I do it a couple times I'll be good to go. thanks for all the help.

Read the OP that what the tpak are all about you just clear cache and davlik and you flash in CW no need to.feflash rom read the OP

Yea I noticed that after I flashed 2.4, the build number was stil showing as 2.4 but I knew it was 2.5.

Anybody out there on the leak OTA 5.7.893 not the one from this Rom the one with radio and kernel? If so is your data connection problem fixed? Camera is about same as DT's? Battery?

I am, and so far no data drops at all for the past week and battery life is amazing, been going 14 to 16 hrs with moderate use and still having 30% left when i go to bed. I have power settings set to kill all data, wifi and gps when screen is off for several minutes. The camera is the "Frankencam" that DT posted a few pages back, works good.

This rom is the best I've tried and keeps getting better.

How was your data connection before? I am in a strong 4G area so I dont have the problem wright here but when I leave the 4G is when I have the problem doesnt want to play well with 3G wont switch or losses conection. Franks is better than stock about the same as zoom camera as far as battery I have extended.

I have good 4g but go out of coverage often, no issues with it changing to 3g, seems to work well for me. And I rarely had data drops before. And I currently use the stock battery.

i installed purity with the ics yesterday and today, after moderate use, im at about 50% after like 4 hours. this seems somewhat low so i was wonderng if maybe this is abnormal

With a new rom install I've found this kind of behavior to be more related to the battery meter's calibration as opposed to the actual battery usage. I did not really calibrate my battery on Th3ory's roms. I just lived with it for a few days and a few charging cycle and it took care of itself. A good habit is to charge the phone to 100% prior to installing a new rom. You'll see less of this kind of behavior.

Did you calibrate your battery using app from market while at 100%, then it run out all the way out. Then recharge to 100% then run back down. If you did all of this three times already then you would have real battery reading if not then your reading is incorrect.
