Quick question... I have been running Purity Xoom v2.4 for 2 weeks or so and went to flash v2.5 today, and I have been stuck on the boot screen for a about thirty minutes. I dont recall it taking this long last time when I flashed the 2.4TPAX. Does it normally take this long, or did I do something wrong?

Sorry for the newb question :-/

This is probably an oversight on my part but is there a way to remove the BACK, HOME and RUNNING APPS icons from the IC3 ROM. They appear below the dock that is at the bottom of the screen. Thanks for the help.

Mine took awhile but not that long maybe 5 min I think something went wrong. I (my opinion) would do bat pull first. If that dont work then I guess you gotta do fastboot.

Its a matter of device... If your have server data issues like me.. In on my 4th bionic.. Its worth a shot.. It didn't do much for mine, but a combo between that and changing these 3 files to .bak in this order, because once you change the
battmanager it will force close and you then pull the batt.. And you're golden.. With root explorer change these files to .bak..

DatamanagerApp.apk
DataManagerService.apk
BatteryManager.apk

DO NOT DELETE OR MOVE!!!!

I've been this way for over 24 hours and my bionic is livable... I am under a 3g tower which over powers my bionic.. Even though I'm in a lte area. Wish I could boink the 3g radio some how so it just receives lte.

I did forever root but I didnt do the upgrade to 5.7.893. Im in a strong 4g area and dont have data loss problem here. Does 5.7.893 help data if I were switching from 4g to 3g in other is it worth doing or just wait for update

The thing i noticed most about .893 was the battery life increase, and this was before flashing new roms. My cell standby used to be between 60-80 and now it sits around 35 and I'm mostly 4g as well. Id recommend doing it becuase even in my 4g area, there were patches of 3g that i would lose connection. With .893 and [p]urity I'm lovin this bionic

So it definetly helped data connection. I got forever root saved on my card I could just go back and do it. Then I would just flash Purity over again and Id be all set. Battery getting low Ill let it charge up and give her hell in the morning Thanks

What do I do to fast boot? I got as far as holding down the power button and the volume buttons. I go to AP Fastboot and connect the phone to the computer and then what?

I have been trying to do this by following this http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-bionic-hacks/183058-bricked-boot-loop.html
